I got to see Elliott perform live three times. Once, when he was touring for XO, I saw him at the Paradise in Boston. I was right up against the stage, like 10 feet away from him. Best concert experience of my life! Not sure if it was the mic he was using or the room acoustics, but his voice sounded even better than it does on the recordings. Hey Nate!! Not familiar with this song, but this is such a great tutorial! So well explained as usual. It is great how you point out all the notes and the fingering and the rhythm. It almost feels like a waltz rhythm because of the left to the right imo. Amazing job!! 👍🎶
Thanks Charlie! I would certainly recommend giving some Elliott Smith a listen :) Sometimes his voice has to grow on people, but he is one of the most masterful composers of melodies and chord progression in rock music history in my opinion
i just came across this video today = i iused your totrial and reazlize it has a lot of the same chords from Bohemian Rhapsody - which is wierd, also seems like he used his same chrod progression for baby brittan and changed the key, but you could use these chords to play that song if you just speed up. Cool shit man!
