    I have already ordered this laptop and am just waiting on it to arrive, sound is not overly important to me as I usually wear headphones. Photo and video processing are important and the ability to run programs like Adobe Creative Suite is critical. My current laptop is a GE62 7RE Apache Pro and it has been great especially after I upgraded to 32gb Ram and 1TB SSD. The new one's specs have been upgraded by CUK are are CUK MSI GF75 Thin Gamer Notebook (Intel i7-9750H, 64GB RAM, 2TB NVMe SSD + 2TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB, 17.3" FHD 120Hz IPS-Level, Windows 10 Home) Gaming Laptop Computer.

    Give me advice please
    I can't still choose msi laptops
    First - MSI GE66 raider
    RTX 3070 8GB 1080 full hd ips 240hz ram: 32gb ssd: 1tb . intel core i7 10750h
    Second - MSI GP76 Leopard
    RTX3070 8GB 1080full hd ips 144hz
    Ram: 16gb ssd:512gb intel core i7 11800h
    First MSI GE 66 costs 100 $ more than gp76
    Point using laptop is for gaming.
    I am going to use laptop at home mostly. If I go to travel somewhere of course I will use my iPad for only watching movies while I'm in airplane or train, if i play games while flying in airplane with 17 inches I may not have enough space at passengers seat and for sure battery won't be enough if I plan to play games. So about laptop I'm stuck with ge66 for only that screen has a 240hz and with ssd memory also ram memory which higher than gp76.
    About GP76 main reason that stops me to buy that screen 144hz and Korean letter keyboard and of course it has a English words too on it, in addition positive side about gp76 is only 11th gen CPU but ram and ssd I can upgrade if I really choose gp76 . Sorry for my English and thank you for your attention

    Here's an idea: I like how you're giving an overall "IMO score" at the end. Maybe you can expand on that in the context of pricing, because prices fluctuate like crazy these days (mining, pandemic, eBay, etc.). So maybe in addition to your IMO score you could say something like "at the time of filming, I would buy this laptop for X amount of money" (maximum being "I would buy this at MSRP"). Whaddya think? :)

    • @CETechTips
      @CETechTips  3 роки тому +2

    I agree it is a fair laptop. Even though it is a gaming PC it has a ten key numpad which is also for non gamers. MSi needs to redesign their keyboard layout. It is not very good. They should reduce the size of the key above the tab key, the tab key, the shift lock key the shift key and the control key all on the left side of the keyboard and move the rest of the keys over to the left and then increase the size of the 0 key on the numpad to simulate calculator keyboard. Also the keys on the numpad should be a little larger and spaced out a little to allow one to input numbers at a much faster rate. Otherwise if not they should get rid of the numpad on their PC's. The current design of their keyboard might look pretty with all the flashing lights but its layout can definitely be improved. This is true on all their PC's. Good review.

    Man I was looking for a good comparison for an RTX3060 vs RTX2070 Super on laptops to see whether it's worth getting the newer cards. After seeing this I think the RTX 2070S is comparatively better still. But there are other options like the Acer Nitro 5, Gigabyte G5 and a few Ton Fang ones. All run at a slightly higher 80-105 watts TDP. I'd like to see how the rest will compare to that.

      @CETechTips  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching, yes the 2070S are still better compared to the 3060. But my other video on thr GP66 with a 3070 does perform much better, besting the 2080 often. I'll see if I can bring those one you suggested in.

      @@CETechTips take your time my dudes. I don't mind the wait. The 3070 is pretty powerful compared to all 20 series graphics it's already a league of its own. Ofc all power cards are pretty hot card. So a bigger 17 inch could be key in keeping it cool yet powerful. Hopefully we can see slightly bigger laptops with powerful specs coming in the mix.

      With Raytracing the 3060 smokes the 2070.

The actual specs online show the case as aluminum....at least according to Best Buy and Amazon ....If mine is plastic it sure doesn't feel like it....it's cool to the touch....You seem like you were trying to slag the machine....I'll be doing rendering and changed to the studio driver. hello. how you solve the overheating?. when i edit or i play games cpu temperature is on 90 - 95 constantly, if i don't turn on cooler boost, how to fix this problem?

    • @davidulmer9774
      @davidulmer9774 3 роки тому

      There a few things you can do to help with that.
      Put something under the rubber feet in the rear to raise it about 1/4 inch. This will help some but not much.
      Under volting the CPU will cool it down a few degrees and help prevent throttling.
      The best thing you can do is to repaste the GPU and CPU. They use cheap thermal paste on these and using something like artic silver or thermal grizzly will drop the temps from 10 - 20 degrees. If you do this just please be careful as many parts are.very easy to break.
