Thank you. You just relieved me. I always get reluctant to use my hand to make okpa. But what quantity of water did you use for that 5 cups of okpa that you cooked.
You are welcome, glad you find it helpful. For water, I don’t measure water, I keep adding until I get a good consistency. But you can use from 1.5 litre or even more.
Sorry about that, did you follow this recipe? Did you stir very well before cooking. Do not make it too thick or too watery. Make sure you use warm water.
I am in Nigeria now I will buy okpa flour when going back. Thanks
Yea you should 🥰🥰
I made my okpa today using the food processor and it turned out really good.

What do you eat that with.
can I use blender to mix the okpa
Yes you can, but your blender should be strong, so it doesn’t get spoilt
Please I did mine today and the outside was hard and the inside was raw

Cook for 45 mins
Chemical from the plastic seep into the okra while cooking. Not good.
I use hands to mix it.
Yea, it works well also with hand. I do too sometimes 😊
