Today we’re checking out the new Liberty 4’s from Soundcore. A pair of true wireless earbuds, that pack impressive sound in a well thought out design, along with some neat features, including Spacial Audio and integrated Heart Rate Sensor. Today I will share my experience using the Liberty 4’s and cover everything you need to know! The Liberty 4’s feature a glossy midnight black colour that looks good. The buds use an in-ear design with a stem on the side. Although not my top choice as it makes the buds a bit bigger. But at the same time, does make them easy to adjust in the ear, while also bringing the mic closer to your mouth, and the stem can be squeezed to control your music. The earbuds magnetically sit in the excellent charge case. Also light up, looks cool and is actually useful at night to easily align and take them out. The Liberty 4’s charge case is nice and slim and is in fact small in all dimensions. To open and close, the case uses this satisfying sliding top. In terms of battery life the earbuds get 7 hrs with ANC on and 9 hrs with ANC off, above average. The charge case adds an additional 28 hrs of battery life. The Liberty 4’s are super comfortable to wear. They feel light in the ear - especially for in-ear earbuds. Weight and contact points are well distributed to create a fit that is comfortable, while also getting a good seal, which is essential for bass, but more on sound in a sec. During my weeks of testing they never fell out or got loose, even during a run. At home I can wear the Liberty 4’s for hours at a time without causing any ear fatigue - good stuff! The right earbud, has a heart rate sensor built in, this is why the ear tips need to be transparent.The heart rate data is used for the wellness feature as part of the Soundcore app. This monitors and shows you your heart rate and stress levels. The liberty 4’s also feature spacial audio. Nice when watching movies and TV shows - does help to immerse you more into your content. They also get Hear ID, which tests your hearing with a range of sounds to customise the sound for you. Bluetooth 5.3. Dual connection, love this, can seamlessly switch between watching a video on my iPad to taking a call on my iPhone. Out of the box, the Liberty 4’s use Soundcore’s signature sound profile. Emphasises high and lows - vibrant and exciting sound profile. I found highs can be a touch on the sharp side, but this can be easily adjusted in app. Customise EQ or choose from a range of preset sound profiles. Featuring Soundcore’s Hi-res audio certified coaxial dual drivers, the sound is clear and big, offering a surprisingly wide soundstage for a pair of in ear buds. Noise cancellation too is strong, effectively blocks out consistent low to mid frequency noise. Noise from a road, train or plane - making the Liberty 4’s great to use on your commute. At times some high frequency noise can come through but it quickly adjusts to cancel as much as possible. Transparency mode works well, letting in voices. Mic quality too is generally clear on calls, stem design helps with mic placement, have a listen. Who are the Soundcore Liberty 4’s for? At $149, these come in at a very compelling price. When it comes to the most important parts of a pair of earbuds: sound design, fit, charge case, battery and sound, the Liberty 4’s absolutely deliver! Plus having dual connect, ear detection as well as the customisable sound and wellness features in the excellent accompanying app, the Liberty 4’s offer an all round package that is hard to beat for the price!

I just purchase Liberty 4 and receive them last night. They have the best sound I have ever heard on a Bluetooth earpiece. That's all I can say. Wow

But you have to turn on LDAC, for me it makes a significant difference.

I’ve got 1st gen Echo Buds. Got them for £50 just after they released the 2nd gen. Couldn’t be happier with them, and they fit my ears perfectly … unlike the regular AirPods.

I like how the Liberty 4 has a heart rate and stress levels aside from how amazing this would be as a wireless earbuds. This will be a helpful device for someone like me who doesn’t have a watch yet but is also concerned with my health data.

The only reason these is a slower lag interms of heart rate is to do with processing the info
I have these very good feels ergonomic and comfy and sound fantastic. I wish the anc was a tad better. I love the sound of the 1mores but these are close

If you could run with these earbuds and not have your phone or watch with you, then that heart rate sensor would be cool but at the same time, if you do so, you can’t listen to music. I think heart rate sensor is a gimmick in this headphone and my favorite feature would definitely be spatial audio and anc

Hi, I would say that the sound quality are rather similar, but the 3pro is somewhat superior. The app however gives you a lot of room for customisation.
It has multipoint, but no wireless charge. Yes, you can skip music tracks. the other points I do not recall

Is it recomended for play fps game mobile sir? Does it have gaming mode? How about latency?
Latency is minimal, and although it does not have a special gaming mode in my opinion it should be fine (but not for the Pro’s :))
Nobody talks about the Google or Alexa assistant on earbuds. I got these and originally set them up to work with Alexa but I don't like the way it's working so I want to change it to use the Google Assistant as the default but I cannot find out how to do this. I don't see anything online and there is nothing in the manual or in the app that gives you the ability to change the default assistant. Do you have any idea? I really appreciate your help

I've had them for a few days and I've owned the liberty 3 pro for awhile and it's quite interesting.. trying to get the same Hear ID from 3s onto my 4s and it's not happening or hard to even replicate since the hair ID custom does not have left and right individual customization and that's unfortunate since you cannot get a sound difference from each earbud but the 3s transparent mode? Full and voice sound better from the 3s (the liberty 4s have had a few updates so it might be fixed) battery life.. it's similar but the case from 3s weirdly seem to last longer than the 4s.. not sure why since they do have the same 500 mAh and talking about using LDAC.. I mean I don't really see a big difference maybe the 4s do implemented a little bit better but it's really similar and A big upside is that I can actually walk away from the cell phone or across a room or two and still have my phone connected while I'm listening to whatever.. from the threes on the other hand you couldn't even walk away from the cell phone or make any distance at all and if you place the phone in your pocket it would have interruption but the 4s have taken that away funny enough but I wish people talked about the comparison a little bit more or at least have an active channel or space where they talk about the 2
Something about the two just different I don't know what it is but for some reason they don't sound as high resolution as they should or maybe it's just how they're set up from the inside out or maybe they have a smaller sound stage than the LB3 Pro s but possibly somebody knows what I'm talking about

Can you please point me to the right product, I'm tired when I'm on a call and the other person on line are saying my background is too loud. They can hear birds, wind, and just opening a bag of chips, they say it sounds like if I'm chewing on an aluminum can. And I wasn't even eating them yet just opening.

Really hope these and the upcoming pros will have better durability…
I had the liberty 3 pros and loved how they sounded, especially with the equalizer. However they really didn’t last very long at all. I went through about 4 pairs in a couple months because at least 1 of the earbud speakers would go out (I guess from sweat or getting dirty…) within a few days or a week or 2. Also felt like after listening to them for a while straight, they sound started to feel muddy and irritating. I think if they put a little more $ into them, they’d be much more worth it.

@amirulwafi07 Of course the Active Noise Cancellation feature which is super useful. I use it just like I am in a quite room even though the surroundings are full of noisy things. Plus to that, I can listen to my song with freedom without any disturbing sounds coming from other directions which I don't like it.

To have heart rate sensor on your eartips is extremely useful when you do weightlifting. Heart rate sensor on your wrist can be affected when you lift due to the movement of your wrist, the question is how accurate the heart sensor is on this Liberty 4?@allrubia
Hi Albert, thanks for the info. I did not know that weightlifting could affect the heart rate sensor. Concerning your question. Although the heart sensor in the Liberty4 is not officially approved (to my knowledge) unlike the sensor in the Apple Watch, I found in the testing both to be rather similar.

Soundcore Liberty 4 are a joke....they will make your ears bleed, and have NO bass what soever....my old p3s sound 1000 times better... you can kill all the treble and it still rings your brain......they dropped the ball bad on this one.....go them on sale at walmart tonight for 97 bucks....there going back tomm....what a shame......

I had the same bad experience with the liberty air 2 pro. Sound was lacking surprisingly. My life dot 2 nc had way better sound quality and bass.
@ohitsbryan06 I just love the design and also the case. I like it because it's a sliding mechanism. I already owned a Soundcore earphones and their earphones are truly amazing. Mine sounds great enough but I believe that Liberty 4 is much better as the Liberty earphones are top notch! The price is the price to beat!

I like the colour but I wish the buds were black too. I like the battery life as the Liberty 4 seems to last longer than AirPods Pro even with the ANC switched on. Also, the wellness feature is always welcome :)
