Love the Howe, not the grade. The Lemieux is a Pop 1, I got the only graded one of the HG Glossy. I should have got the Trottier graded. The Bossy might have come back a 6, so no resalel value there. Thanks for watching!!!
@Hockeytube19 when they came out I think the esso stickers were like 25 cents a pack with a fill up... And every 2 days Dad would get like 10 packs a time
I know, so hard to tell what PSA will give you, they all look great, don't know what happened with the Howe. From a re-sale standpoint, PSA 10 sells for double a PSA 9, and so on. So the higher grade the better for selling on the eBay.
Did you know that there's no equivalent OPC card of the 1971-72 Topps Gordie Howe card? The OPC set has a special Howe retirement card instead of his regular card that is in the Topps set. There's also a Jean Beliveau retirement card in the OPC set (there's no regular Beliveau card in the Topps set). They're both beautiful cards. You should check out the Howe card to add to your collection. It's #262. You had the Esso pronunciation correct the 1st time; it's pronounced like the letters S and O. Personally, not a fan of graded cards. The only graded card I own (1972-73 OPC 1st Team All-Star Defensemen Bobby Orr/Brad Park because it was much cheaper than buying an ungraded version because it was graded by some obscure grading company in Quebec), I want to smash it out of its case to put with the rest of my 1972-73 OPC cards (missing only 6 cards to finish the set), but the case is really thick. I once smashed a PSA case years ago when I bought the last card to complete my 1970-71 Dad's Cookies set.
@@montrealsports29 for sure, I will check that out. I know of the retirement cards, but don’t think I have them. Most of the graded cards I am selling to get a premium for them, I’m not keeping too many myself. The ones I am keeping it’s more for curiosity and protection in the slab. Just another layer to the hobby I never really got into either, just starting that journey myself, see how far I take it. You are the best!
Nice stuff. That Lemieux is a really nice card. Love that Howe 71-72 as well.

@@petecartaxo it’s a nice 1, I mean 4/10 😜😂
The esso stickers ... I had 100s of them... They are nice if you can find the book they go in..
That would be cool to have.

@@johnwilson4383 Sweet! Thanks dad!!!
I no longer care about perfect grading as long as its better than a 6 they all look good to me haha
