- So the AaaAaAAaaaAAaaAaAaaA part keeps going past the music because in the actual song it goes on past the instrumentals. However, the background vocal rip didn't come out great, so I decided not to include those.

Quick question. Why did you remove Tool?
It was not just me. Pretty much all TOOL karaoke has been removed from youtube, as has most even semi popular content with TOOL in it. This has been done due to Rico Management issuing strikes against channels using TOOL's music, and their nuke first and don't ask questions later approach led to one karaoke channel shutting down and mine and a few others almost shutting down. It is unknown at this time if Rico is actually contracted by TOOL itself or if Rico is a fake company enforcing copyright on TOOL in an extortionate manner due to TOOL's general disregard for the virtual distribution of their music. At the least I suspect Maynard himself is not behind it because APC and Puscifer have not been affected by the scourge.
I write this reply in detail to you not just for you but so anyone else googling TOOL + Rico Management might see this.
TOOL covers are allowed, which is why two TOOL karaoke videos are still on my channel. Otherwise, it is fair to expect that there will not be any more TOOL karaoke on youtube, from me or anyone else, if and until the absolutely absurd policy of nuking this free and utterly harmless content off the internet is stopped. If anything, because my videos are already claimed by the original rights' holders and the ad revenue is sent to them, they were already monetizing my content anyway, for content they never actually sold to begin with (neither their instrumentals nor, famously, half their fucking lyrics...).
WWHHHAAAATTTT THE FUCK?! F that company. While it lasted, it was amazing. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. I appreciate you issuing the statement. You’re doing God’s work by doing what you do. The videos you’re posting are spot on. I’m just sorry that they’ve done this.
@@TheRealJoeM Thanks! The whole situation really sucks, especially given how much money I've given TOOL over the years. Really, at the end of the day, this bullshit IP enforcement only hurts fans and does nothing to protect their revenue or their IP. Frankly, as much as I love their live shows, after this it's unlikely I'll shell out another $300 for a ticket for a show...
