Thanks buddy. I've got such a huge backlog of games I want to play. Things I'm really excited to get to. It's just allowing myself to enjoy what I love. It can be tough.
Hey man. Okay... this is something I can fully relate to. I have bad bouts of anxiety and have dealt with depression for years, and gaming has been one of the ways I can deal with it too. Lately it's been a good way to focus, for sure. I remember playing games when I was younger for the same reasons, being an anxious teenager even. I love immersive fantasy stuff like Skyrim and Oblivion, and story-bases relaxing indie titles like Everyones Gone to the Rapture. Older stuff like Eternal Champions, Road Rash and Mario were also big time helpful growing up. Listening to your history of this is mighty interesting, dude. It's really a beautiful thing to hear you speak out and open up about your life, about your coping techniques when dealing with depression. While we're at it... awesome Duck Tales flask amigo. Thanks for sharing, really nice video.
I grew up playing games on console and PC. So I have been fortunate enough to have played so many amazing games, and let myself get wrapped up in those world's. As I've gotten older I've found I found I wasn't letting myself enjoy them. Or forgetting how much they helped me when I was an awkward child/teen. Thank you for sharing brother. Sometimes it's easy to forget how something as simple as sitting down with a video game can improve your day.
Hell yes Sir! I feel those feels. I've got 2 games I have lined up i actually gotta start playing.
