The camp was awash with arguments during the very first series in 2002.

Rhona's bluntness - including telling Darren Day he was like TV comic character Frank Spencer, wound up several of her campmates, and she was dubbed Rhona the Moaner. She had a major falling-out with former boxer Benn, accusing him of bullying and mocking his Bible-reading. Nigel said that if she were a man "he'd knock her sparko". Rhona became famous for her "sometimes" speech, when she couldn't take the tension any more, which won her an award as the best reality TV moment of the year.
