I asked my vet if my cat had diabetic neuropathy from the steroids. He said that diabetes is the trade off for steroids and insulin is a hassle. He continued giving her 40mg depomedrol injections every 2 weeks until she died.
I was already giving her daily B12 injections, insulin doesn’t seem much different.
