- On this edition of Game Show Garbage, Robert Seidelman plays more video games and this time it's Hollywood Squares for the Nintendo Wii. Released by Ludia, it's a take on the Tom Bergeron version of the game. Is it any good? Well, if it's from Ludia, you already know the answer to that.

“You’d figure there would be the bonus game for both of the contestants to unlock the costumes”
…bro you showed that the players you choose in multiplayer are just the default avatars
Excellent! I actually have the Press Your Luck DVD game. It sucks beyond BAD!
If you're going to do a review of it (Which I'm sure you will), you can use the footage from the time my boyfriend & I played it if you want: VINTAGE GAME NIGHT - Press Your Luck on DVD
That's alright. I had my brother and his friends play the game this weekend to get footage. It's awful. I feel sorry for both you and your Boyfriend for putting up with that garbage.

AREN'T THE WAY TO GO,
BUT PRESS YOUR LUCK?
THAT'S GOING REAL LOW!
I played this game once. And only once. It was so amazingly devoid of personality. At the very least give the other celebrities zingers. And last names.
Also, why go through the trouble of writing backstories for your opponents if you never see them do or say anything?
5:12 Speaking of bonus rounds, you mentioned Celebrity Squares in the Monkhouse/Wipeout segment in the good host/good game flops video. What do you think of the CS bonus round?
For anyone who's not seen a game of CS, the bonus game's basically the Red Light Challenge from Cash Cab; you race against the clock to think up nine answers that fit a list (standard Monopoly tokens, the Doctor's companions, cartoon cats, etc.).
I can only say one thing to Ludia about this game: YOU FOOL!
I don’t have Hollywood Squares for the Wii yet. I might get it, but maybe I’m better off with the NES version.
I don’t think everything Ludia touches turns to trash. I enjoy The Price is Right and Family Feud for the Wii.
Press Your Luck sucks, though.
Unless it's the PS3 version, which is a little better, because of a VARIETY of prizes, not just "YOU WON A TRIP! A VALUE OF $3,000/$4,000!"
@@JonesDylan874 Alright, Dylan, I'll give ya that one.
I had GameTek's version of HS for the C64 way back in 1989...also enjoyed how they kept the "zingers", although my copy malfunctioned and stopped working only a month or so after I got it!
Celebrities.
Yeah, I find the whole cliff hanger thing to be very trite in primetime gameshows nowadays. It's pretty much drama for the sake of drama.
This actually will make you play tic tac dough instead, but minus wink martindale.
And without that bonus game with the dragon.
thank you PYL DVD SUCKS!!!!
