Hello, can this device also double up as a memory saver when swapping your battery (ie if its connected to a powerd up laptop, or power brick, via the mini USB) Thanks!
I have one Por V2.O and actually it doesn't allow to enter the data when changing the AGM battery on my corsa e diesel or dpf, so when will be an update to the soft ?

I will answer you instead of him if you don't mind. The V2.0 (i don't understand "questing mark" in your comment, no idea what do you mean by that) stands for a V2.0 unit, basically the successor of the older POR II. You cannot add other makers to this unit, it's name is "POR" which means Porsche, and ONLY that. No other makers. If you want to use it for more makers, you have to buy the "CR PRO" version, which does support over 40 makers if i'm not mistaken. Or there is a middle option, the "iCarsoft CR 4+1" which does support up to 5 makers. It's a bit more expensive than this POR unit, but it's much cheaper than the PRO version. If you don't own a big garage, do not want to repair a dozens of cars, just want to use it for your own car + maybe 1-2 extra cars in the family, the "CR 4+1" is your bet.
Did anyone ever reply to you about the over rev? I would also like to know. Contemplating whether I should go with the icarsoft or foxwell. I know that scanner does red over rev.
Only used mine twice, third time getting "communications failure, application failure" message persistently...doesn't perform any functions whatsoever. Device doesn't communicate with car. Scanner doesn't work; do not recommend.
