when I watched this show myself, I absolutely hated Marco, but now looking from the outside, I just realize that this is largely due to the actor who perfectly portrayed a narcissistic soulless monster who holds the title of Emperor of gaslighting :)
How Naomi got the clue:
Karal mentioned the code with which they killed the Augustin Gamarra. She also said, she hoped, they would refresh Naomi's memory about it. But at that mentioned time, there was not clear, that Naomi would be with them and not on the Roci, to be a victim of the sabotage herself. Then Karal anticipated, that no one would come to save Naomi - because the Roci would be history the moment the reactor has powered up.
Later Filip said: "You should be grateful to me for taking you. Saved your life." You can easily think he is talking about this very last situation on the bridge with her attempt to kill Marco. But he spoke about taking her to the Pella earlier, so she could not return to her crew and the Roci which is up to get blown to pieces.
Naomi is obviously very smart to solve this puzzle, but that is her character. She is really smarter than everyone.
200 IQ crazy
@@terabytrng There was also a comment from Filip an episode earlier where he said to Naomi that he "saved her". But, saved her from what? Naomi was piecing together information from several people including Karal as mentioned above.
a perfectly expressed position at the end of the reaction! I can call myself quite left-wing, but I also believe that the liberal values of freedom of speech and the possibility of competition, including political competition, are no less important, because when people that screaming that the rich are evil actually come to power, they commit some of the most evil and bloody acts in history! I have more than enough problems with capitalism, but there is no better system yet, there are just different forms of it , and I support active experiments on what kind of system this can be and for the competition of its various forms, rather than the barbaric destruction of what alredy works In the hope to build a utopia based on another quasi-religious ideology
Marco is a very, very stereotypical narcissist.
Textbook abusive spouse and abusive parent… and textbook cult leader.

Amos checks the guard's gun after he "falls". He sees he is out of ammo. That's an indication that Tiny is calculating to improve his chances of maybe escaping by eliminating the guard once he is no longer useful to help them get further up the shaft.
Season 5 is ramping up!
I hear you about this show building tension, they could write a textbook on it.
Those guards must have a lot of bullets for their guns. About Tiny, he played Boomtown in Letterkenny, that's where I first noticed him. He has an interesting past, having a degree in Mechanical Engineering and starting his show biz career as a stand-up comedian. Here, he's 'just' another excellently written and acted side character in The Expanse!
That reference to Naomi's famous red kibble. Recall that time she cooked it on the Roci in Season 3?
Marco really is a dick. The actor does a great job playing the role. He keeps messing with Filip, and notably keeps dissing him ("I'm disappointed") to maintain control, I think. But I'm not a psycho-ologist.
I love how they built up how Naomi figured out that Marco's people messed with the Roci's reactor code. So well set up, and shows how smart Naomi is. She IS smarter than her old friends!
Insane! This show is it bro
