Thank you for pointing out THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of the fitted sheet process (that nobody ever acknowledges) start with the sheet INSIDE OUT!!! very important REAL first step for success
I spent hours watching and looking at how to fold a fitted sheet. After two hours of watching and following along with the video. I got nowhere. I was going to give up when I came across your video. And I finally understood what I needed to do to fold a fitted sheet. Thanking you as I had at least thirty fitted sheets to fold.
I like the last one the best. Thanks for explaining the fitted sheet folding so well. I’ve watched dozens before but got so confused. Yours was easy to follow, thanks :)
I had to comment to say that the way that you demonstrated the fitted sheet made it make so much sense to me. Thank you for putting this video together!
This was so great, you helped my Mum and I transform the linen closet. It's tidy, makes sense and everything is accessible now! I did the folding though so she just hands me sheets out of the dryer to fold lol
Hello Ms.Judi. I'm happy I just found your video. Thank you for the great video. You have a lovely, calming voice. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Thank youuuu soooo muchhhhh..i have to learn to do a fitted sheet for my c.n.a class this week..since i was young my mother told me i should learn to fold a fitted sheet..who would have thought i would need this skill later on..go figured..your video was slow process..you didn't rush the tutorial...the steps were well explained...excellent work.😊😊😊😊😊😊🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰thank you again.
I am a housekeeper for short term rentals so learning how to fold a fitted sheet has always been a goal of mine. I have honestly watched 10 different videos on how to do it and I always end up saying "ahh screw it. I don't get it" and I just kinda wing it but it looks awful.... But then I found your video. I finally was able to fold a fitted sheet perfectly!!! So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I am subscribing to your channel for sure!❤
Judi!! Ma'am you betta know that I got it right on the first try with this video! Hehehehehe...I wish I could show you a picture. Again, you can't tell me nothing!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this video! I thought all the methods were wonderful, and we particularly loved the last method! Linen closet is already looking amazing! 💕💕💕
OMG! You can talk soft and calm! I really like it because it makes me to really watch this video and subscribe 😊Thank you, thank you for teaching us the fold and the finish presentation. Beautiful!!!! This will be my next project. My linen closet will finally look attractive.
For whatever reason, my silly brain decided to ask, "how do you fold a fitted sheet," which led me to this video! Sometimes, I'm happy that I have a brain that rarely shuts off because this was like ASMR crack for me, AND I learned a new skill! Woohoo! Thank you for this fantastic video! You have yourself a new subscriber!
Lovely video! One other way to use one of the pillowcases: 1. Lay pillowcase completely flat. Remove all “air”. 2. Just like in your video, fold in half length-wise. Bottom to bottom. Open top to open top. The “top” is where you would insert the pillow into the pillowcase. 2. a. Repeat once more. OR 2. b. Find the lengthwise center and fold the right edge to the center line. Fold the left edge to the center line. Then fold one of those halves completely over to the outer edge of the other half. Like it were a book. One long side is “solid” and other long side you could insert your fingers. (This one is my favorite) 3. Sit the set on the narrow pillowcase. Fold “open” or “top” end so that it’s on top of the stack, looking like its going to be a belt. Fold “closed” end up and around the folded stack of sheets. 4. Instead of turning and tucking the pillowcase into itself on the side…as shown in your video…instead lift open the very “top” fold and then insert the bottom into the opening. Like inserting a letter into an envelope. Keep inserting the bottom portion until it’s taut. Víolá! NOTE 1: Depending on the type of fabric and thread count, the bottom will either insert quick and easy or you may need to get a ruler to help the insertion to go in flat. NOTE 2: I like variety and colors, so i have several sets of sheets. I tuck a note in the “belt”/pillowcase the date I laundered and folded the set. “Last used: July 21, 2024” in order to rotate evenly or not wear out a set faster than the others. 😊
Great tips!😀 I learned how to fix my bulky fitted sheet problem 😲😃 🙌! I also learned how to use the pillow case properly to wrap my sheet gift 🎁! Thank you so very mucha
This was fun! I finally found your video again. I went with the ‘wrap around’ pillowcase method. I think it gives my linen closet a bit more dimension🥰Thank you, again!
Brilliantly done Judi. I like the final “wrap” the best. It looks really neat. I did the one where everything goes in to the second pillow case but it isn’t best enough looking for me. I will practice. Xxx
Thanks for all the examples. I preferred the last example the best as the pillow cases will have symmetrical creases when the bed is first made looking better.. Thanks for great ideas with great techniques!!
This is the best tutorial I've found so far! So detailed, easy to follow, looks so neat. Even I could do it and I'm useless at folding clothes lol but I want to get better and now I can! I hope you have more 😌
Watching this in the UK 🇬🇧, just subscribed. We are in our 3rd National Lockdown, I suspect after Scotland increased their Lockdown rest we in England will follow. I dred to think what that will entail. So folding my bed linen alone, is my is now my plan for Saturday night. This time last year it was a night out with friends in London enjoying the nightlife on the South Bank (of the River Thames).
Judi, I love your channel! This is video is perfect! Could you do a video on making a bed ? Specifically with hospital/military corners and other techniques (if applicable)?
Thank you, Synkai - love your name! I'm sure there are a few videos already created showing this but I definitely will think about it because it's definitely a great topic!
Put them into the pillow case with the long side first. Then fold the pillow case into itself (put both sides of the loose ends inside the packet. Smooth everything - only one smooth seam now.
JulZ's Step-by-step guide to fold a fitted sheet: Step 1: attempt to fold fitted sheet. Step 2: get frustrated, wad fitted sheet into a ball, jam in linen closet, call it a day.
alsoJulZ: Follow her instructions, they are easy! Just folded my first one and came out great!! Did the set and her finished presentation, put them in my linen closet and it looks beautiful! Now I have more room for more sheets bundles!! Good luck😊
I have to iron my sheets and pillow cases first. Your sheets don't seem to be creased a lot. It takes a long time to iron flat sheet, fitted sheets and pillow cases , even if I iron them folded in half, and it's sooo tiring. Any suggestions?
No need to fold over or fold around it. Just get to where you can make all Corners visible with the sweet on the inside and the corners on the outside and just basically touch two corners to two corners and then get each of them and touch the other two corners together to make it to where you can get the sheet Square. Just like the bunny ear thing teaching kids how to tie shoes I'm just knocking the other ear out the equation. Corner to corner then Corners to Corners to make it Square then start folding. Wish I could explain it better butt it seems like you're working yourself to death over that but still did a good job...... Edited spell check. Didnt catch my voice correctly. Good now. Oh and good video
Wait a second I don’t know how best to fold a flat sheet and you just breezed past it telling me i know already. Should’ve called this video “how to fold a fitted sheet and I acknowledge flat sheets exist”
@gr777 no she just talks too much and gives bad directions. I found a different faaaaaar more effective explanation on Bed Bath & Beyond’s page. It took me 3 min to learn.
Thank you for pointing out THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of the fitted sheet process (that nobody ever acknowledges) start with the sheet INSIDE OUT!!! very important REAL first step for success

Yes I do fold my fitted sheets this old school way
The 4th corner gets me everytime
loved the fitted sheet portion! Would have still liked the flat sheet just to make sure they were sizing up the same. But maybe thats just me :)

These sheets were new when I filmed the video. I usually just fold them with the wrinkles.
I wish they would fold a queen or king sheet instead of twin
This was a king-size sheet set
❤️🌹
Why did you skip the flat sheet isn't that the reason you're demonstrating.
I figured that was the easiest sheet to fold I guess. I was wrong, sorry about that.
Do you have to bounce it up and down as many times as you did???😳🧐
Yes!

You spend so much time ironing and then undo it all with the screwing up and over folding of the pillowcase 🙈
I could have folder 4 loads of laundry in the time it took to fold one set of sheets. LOL
Not on a european square sheet lol, you americans have small beds
