- This is before and after Superstorm Sandy pictures of Keansburg NJ boardwalk after putting this together with Paul Simon's song "My Little Town"I realized that some of the pics were from Seaside NJ and maybe Point Pleasant NJ too nevertheless its a sad ,sad situation for any little town....
Your welcome ,I lived in that little town for most of my childhood and have many memories there.My thoughts and prayers go out for everyone effected.....

Thank you for posting these photos. Seeing all the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy is heart-wrenching for me. I was born and raised in Perth Amboy, and lived in Keansburg from 1980 to 1986, prior to relocating to central Florida. Currently, I reside in Orlando, and I still have family in NJ, NYC, and eastern PA.
My prayers are with those NJ residents who have lost their homes and businesses.

Thanks for posting this. This is where i lived before i moved to NH. One of my goals was to take the family there to see where I grew up and now it will be hard for me to reconize things myself. Keep safe..

So sad i used to go there every weekend during the summers as a kid and now it will never be the same

I visited Keansburg back in 1999. Had a lovely time. Was saddened to hear of loss, but am glad the park will reopen. I hope ll the New Jersey parks, damaged by Sandy, will reopen. Maybe this time around, the parks will be better than before.

yes, me too!! i have baby videos from the 80-90s of my sister Nd me playing in the water park. i miss the big bucket already :(
I cant belive its really gone,that was my favorite place when i was a kid hell even as a teenager and now its destroyed and i doubt they will try and rebuild it.this is a really sad.
Well, 6 years later, I can proudly say they did rebuild it
All the photos I used were shared by friends and family.I'm actually in st Augustine Florida but I grew up there and Loved that little town.I heard the police had a problem with looters, that's why they probably were so protective of the streets.In any case as far as your tickets go hold on to them or maybe put them in a scrapbook with some of these photos...Thanks for watching..Billy

GREAT video... Its sad tho... Jersey is our home state and we have alot of great memories there in Keansburg. ARE THEY DONE RE-BUILDING YET??? Looking forward to going back next week!

I can't believe the photos. I'm surprised you got so many photos without getting kicked off the street. I had cops yelling at me to get off the road. Sad that that place is gone. Don't know what to do with all my tickets now :/
00:35 that was my favorite ride when i was little now its on the ground with nothing to support it i miss keansburg i wish i could go there again and see all the rides just one more time i lived in elizabeth but i always went there on the weekends how i miss moby dick the train ride everything there i almost cried when i saw the pictures i wish that superstirm sandy neverncame to my favorite amusement park thank you for this video i enjoyed it

Yeah I know realized that after the fact but it really doesn't matter ... The destruction was and is being felt throughout the Jersey shore...I can only hope that they ALL receive the help they need and deserve.New Jersey has always helped those in need throughout America....

COOL VIDEO IT WAS HIT HARD BUT NOT AS BAD AS SEASIDE AND KB WILL BE OPEN SPRING 2013 THEY R STATING BUT THE BUMPER CARS ARE STILL NOT REALLY TOUCHED THE BUILDING WAS DAMAGED NMAY BE ABLE TO B FIXED OR MAYBE HAVE TO BE TORN DOWN BUT NO WORD ON THAT YET AND I SEE THE BUMPER CAR PSYCHOS POPPED UP IN THIS VID AT 2;13 LOL
I still wonder where are all the outraged entertainers like Kanye West and politicians? Do these people not deserve the same? They were left for days without anything and when it did come weeks without heat and power when the temps dropped. And just now there was a few dollars thrown at them because the congress was arguing. So becuase it was the Northeast they have to pay for Katrina?
