i recently went up from an 11 to a 11.5 for my guide 16's and just ordered my guide 17's in 11.5 too (i am 11.5 in the speeds too). The comment that they are more roomier makes me hope i should not have gone back to 11, but i think it should be ok
He compares it briefly to the feel of the Arahi but I like this much better. Soft and relaxed...it isn't bouncy but it is smooth. Not clunky. My stability go-to are Vongo 5 & Kayano 30. This isn't those, but the rockered nature of it keeps you fairly centered. I felt fine in these.
The toe box seems taller in this newer model. I can curl my toes in it (not forced curling, just standing I can move my toes around a lot in it). Is that normal?
testing i ended up sending guide17 back, its a step backwards. feel bulky and dead midsole and firmer vs previous G15/16. NB 860v13 outperforms in each area.
Can someone please answer if these would be good walking shoes. I have a severe injury and can only walk right now. Have tried several shoes, but they are way too soft and padded to walk. They feel unstable. Good for running. But, how about walking. Thanks
I would not recommend these shoes for walking. These shoes do not look good in pants or jeans . These shoes are super comfortable , this is the only shoe that works for runs. There is a lot of bulk in the mid sole and it feels like your walking with a giant tennis ball in the middle of the shoe similar to the Clifton 9. I would recommend Altra, Topo , ASICS . Topo Phanthom is what I use for walking around town .. it’s comfortable and it looks good with whatever I throw on
I've been very impressed with mine. For a big shoe I've found it easy to pick up my pace in these, something I can't do in my Ghost Max.
I am truly impressed by how many shoes you guys are reviewing!

I have bad knees and I need a stability that doesn’t bounce . Would this be a good shoe ?
I'm about 510 250 pounds. I walk on the treadmill quickly but I don't run. Do you think things would be good shoes for someone in my situation?
How is the forefoot stability for Someone that pronates there?

@@theodorebutryn8832thanks!
Tom...you need to try the GT2000 12. Amazing so far!!!
My current shoe. Problem is now trying to convince my foot to run in anything else…
Agree! Love that shoe
Great shoe but I only get 400 - 450 kms.
@@jeremypacheco6450 mines at 700km but feeling very flat and dead
GT2000 12 I bought it and used once and sold it for £40 🤣🤣🤣. So just bought this one let's see how it goes

Get kinvaras rather, lower drop and firmer

The Saucony Hurricane 24 is very stable and padded. More so than this one. Also a Brooks Beast would probably be a good choice.
What stability shoe would you recommend for a marathon
I would say the Tempus, or if your stability needs aren't that great (and just need a stable neutral shoe) then maybe something like the Speed 4.
This one or NB 1080 v13 for recovery runs?
More form v4!
This is a stability shoe. The 1080 is not.
@@dtranger and? Only neutral shoes are for recovery? Many elite runners use stability shoes for their easy runs.
It really looks to me like Kieran could go up half size to 9's.
It looks like Hoka now
