i set up my city like yours after watching this video. however, workers/residents did not go across to the most left island to work in reed gather, hunting lodge etc. They just keep staying on the same island. how did your workers travel between islands or being recruited automatically, without building housings on the most left island?
Nice job! I did the other choice in my campaign, but always do the second choice after in the 'missions' section. Thing with that is you can't use your 'governor' funds as a back-up [not that I need it - or you! lol].
Yeah. I agree. Later on its more entertainment as well. So houses have an entertainment level to evolve, but each thing like booth bandstand ect have a value similar to a temple. City of 6000? Better start making a ton of booths.
I completed the original Pharaoh like that and I do not feel it adds much of anything to the game. So.. I need two houses to find 300+ workers for my industrial sector? Mechanically, it's silly to me. But that is just my personal opinion. While I am not using it, I do demonstrate how you can incorporate houses into my industrial loops in my version 2 housing tutorial.
Hum sometimes it's a request for troops as well. And sometimes you can finish a mission fast enough that you don't even get attacked. Done that a few times.
I dont know if you cover my question in other video, but how did u do to get workers on industries that are far from housing blocks? Did u change anything on game settings?
Hi, yes I did. Global labor pool in settings. Keeps you from having to build a bunch of slums for random things. I didn't like it in the original and I don't feel it's very life like as well.
i needed to restart this mission at least 12 times. First few times i could not buy any Game Meat the Pharao requested. He would not stop requesting it. Some time later the attacked me with his fulI army. I try to use the hunting lodges, but they doesnt do any thing ! :O Now im surprised they hunt somthing in your playthrough :O I played the game nearly 40h, but it still drives me crazy with his bugs... ahh sorry meant features :D Somestimes my ferries didn´t work and i saw it to late. In an other attempt i build a full 6 fort army in anticipation of an attack, but never came. so tons of copper and money wasted. Two or three times the dock wasn´t working propperly-so no im -or export,ect.ect.ect.
So quick question. Where your hunting lodges on the same island as the birds down in the south west? Gatherers will not use ferries to go mine raw resources, whether it be reeds, birds, woods, excetra. The cart pushers will transfer it off there however.
@@7Wolf77 Yes, i build them on the island in soth west. I got a message once " no worker lives nerby" and in another attempt, i build a few houses next to them but they still dosnt wok. So i thought i can´t use them on the map. i had a few missions, where i can´t use a production building.
@@IceMaverickX hum...the ferrys connected to roads all the way across? If you do not have global labor pool the ferries need workers and worker access as well.
@@7Wolf77 yep it was. i got so muchg trouble finishing the mission, but even without the hunting lodges i was able to beat hte mission. I had a few mission where different things won´t work. Maybe you remember the Mission to build the first pyramid? i tried this mission 10 times, because randomly the building process stopped at 17% or 32%.

Thanks for watching! I basically just do what ever first since I'll be doing them all regardless. So what ever pops up first gets done first =)
By far your play throughs are the best. Just wish we didn't have to spam the temple blocks it's just stupid..

well done. but how a bout playing without global labor pool?

I always though if the military complex is available there will be attacks you need to prepare for, weren't you attacked at all in this mission?

Not sure but thinks its because there are predatory animals in it that military can take out
