Nice.. I've recently built a Cafe Racer / scrambler based on the CG Honda
Awesome, sounds great! 😎
I'm toying with a new carb for my cg125, but I have a fresh bottle of carb cleaning spray to try before I go down that route. Great video, keen to see any more progress you have made!
Nice job with new carb looks and sounds great
Thanks Gary! How’s your brakes, did you try the zip tie?
Amazing value those Chinese carbs......no wonder we've got no manufacturing left in the U.K. It works great on my CG!!
I was sceptical at first but it works perfectly! It’s a shame we don’t make anything decent anymore.
@@TurnersWorkshop97 I was as well but I thought at that price you couldn't really go wrong. The bike will be a great asset to take on your travels.
Comes with a warranty too! I really hope so, just need to get my license so I can carry a pillion passenger 👍🏼
Hey Ollie 👋 Looks like Honda is running great with a new carb 👍 Happy days! :)
Hey Al, cheers man! Im very pleased with it 😎
Nice job Oli. its running great!
Cheers mate! :)
What are your rear shocks? I have just gotten myself the same bike I’m glad I found your videos
Thanks for watching, they are NICETECT shocks
Awesome it actually sounds nicer with the exhaust muffled so good job. That L plate on the back looks like it won't last long.... I'm sure thats intentional :P for what's to come. My bike is loud but as the saying goes..."loud pipes save lives" so if you are being eyeballed that's good, people see you. When riding through built up areas at night I usually keep the bike pulling along almost at idle to keep everyone happy.... When filtering in Glasgow city traffic to and from work I'm usually revving it up to let people know I'm here and would like to pass. Stay safe on the bike and ride defensively. I once got told from a well respected rider "Ride to 70% of your ability and keep 30% for getting out of trouble" I still keep this in mind and it's saved my ass more than a few times. I guess another way to look at it is just because you can doesn't mean you should... Safe riding :)
Thank you for your comment mate, this is really useful and will be useful to any beginner riders reading too 👍🏼 safe riding 😊
Oh yeah!
Hi there, thanks for this video! Im currently finishing my CG125 scrambler but having issues with the lights.
How did you manage to run the bike without a battery? I guess the lights work when the engine is running? Every info is very appreciated!! Also links to adjustments you had to buy... Thanks!!
Hey, the bike will run without a battery because it has a separate ignition winding that powers the ignition coil. The battery is for running the lights 😊
@@TurnersWorkshop97 thanks for your reply! yes that makes sense, but how do the lights work when there is no battery? Is there a chance to connect the lights directly with the dynamo/stator?
Bit of a change from the Transit, Ollie!
Hi Linsey, still work to be done on the van when I get the time! Always wanted to do my bike test and finally getting on with it 😁
Nice bike
Thanks mate 😊
Hope you pass your test quickly, that would look nice on the back of my van 😊
Haha, I am attached now so will be hard to part with this one!
