wow im impressed how much power were you making before you destroyed the block??
It was only making about 300hp but had alot of detonation that bent the stock rods and sent one out the block haha.

I have a 1986 celica 3sge. Can i put a turbo on it? Or is tunning a problem? Do you have info ?
You can but you will need to swap factory ECU with a programmable one
What pistons and rods did you use?
From my research online i am seeing that gen 2 or gen 3 3S GTE pistons work.

Yes more videos are on the way soon, i kept the factory exhaust and back box to keep it a sleeper but it has a boost actuated bypass valve on the down pipe that opens up when i hit boost and makes all the right noises.This build was very difficult due to the lack of information for these engines but well worth it in the long run.

Would you recomend turboing this car with stock engine?
Yes you can with this engine just build a manifold put a FP regulator on it to get more fuel and put an intercooler run 6-8 psi all day with no program. Oh and gap the plugs and put MAF sensor before the turbo.

where dd you find the turbo kit
everything was made by me "turbo manifold ,downpipe ,intercooler piping etc" you cant buy turbo kits for this car.
pistons and rods are for the 3sgte gt4 ,honda k20 exhaust valves and acura rsx intake valves also fit this engine with some machining involved.
How much boost was it running when it blew
it was running about 12psi but it wasnt boost that blew the engine it was the bee*r 2step rev limiter i had installed at the time that caused detonation and bent the rods slowly over time.
What power did it make?
I haven't put it on the dyno yet its still running the standard ecu and only low boost i do have a links g4 standalone to go in but waiting for the virus to blow over, power-wise right now about 300hp-350hp
