I cant tell you enough how much this video has helped me. I have a 13 explorer and had a steering rack and tires put on. That was like $3500. They said I need struts and rear lower control arms. You made the struts look easy. Hopefully I can do it myself ans save some money. Thanks again man !!
I did the Traxda lift kit on my 2018 explorer. The front is lifted 2 inches and the rear 1.25 with 31inch nitto trail grapplers. My next upgrade is the front bumper. Glad I wasn't the only one that wanted a different look for this rig rather than the slow, and low big wheel build.

Thanks for explaining aligning the notches on the front strut mount extension.. watched another video for a 2.5” lift kit but he never showed how he aligned those notches and the written instructions weren’t very clear.
I’ve had my leveling kit on for awhile now all is good except I wanted to replace my front lower control arms and it’s a battle to put in that last one at the wheel. Just wanted to check in with you and see if the geometry with leveling kit might affect it
Late to the party but, Red Beard if you still own this vehicle, have you had any problems with it? PTU, water pump,( Inside engine ran by cam gear) transmission, (filter is inside tranny, to change it means removal and splitting case) A-pillars coming off at highway speeds, (under review by NHTSA for recall), timing chain, carbon monoxide in cabin from exhaust and more. I own an Exploder also. Mine has 78,000 miles. If yours doesn't have drain plugs on the PTU and rear differential did you drill and tap them for a plug? Word is Ford charges 2200 for the water pump install. That is if you find its problematic before catastrophic engine failure. Putting a water pump inside an engine should be a failing grade for any engineer, in my humble opinion. Great content on your channel with good ole boy humor. Excellent video! Keep'em coming!
I just bought a lift and leveling kit for my 2016 explorer. 2in rear 3in front. After watching your video here im confident on front. But can't seem to find a video for rear install.
They could make the spacer screw together and have a little adjustment for a weak spring on one side.Like a coil over kit. I missed last nights live stream. Fell asleep and didn’t hear notification sound.
Why do you guys remove the cv axle bolt? I’ve replace my struts and never loosen up my axle bolt, does it make it easier to bolt on the lower struts when putting back ??

I plan on doing the 1.25 inch lift in the front what size all terrain tire would you recommend? Specifically a size that won’t rub
What ratio did you use and on what rim size? Any issues after a year
