An interesting use of the linelock, or I've misinterpreted a cut to another scene. All in, what a great replica for the 1/5th scale crowd, and an enticing invitation to that club.

The engineering, the molds and CNC costs nowadays are beyond what they used to be. I would have considered this model to start at a base price of 3 grand or more... somewhat upwards of 4 grand... yet the great folks at PrimalRC chose to not bankrupt the consumer... for that I'm very grateful. It may seem overpriced to some... yet be aware of what you are getting... it's not just an rc chassis with a body... it consists of tons of ingenious minds whom have all gathered together, had discussions, applied an idea and created something spectacular... take into account what others have done...just so one can have fun. There's a lot that goes into these things man... 2k.. not a bad price at all.

How will this behemoth be blasting off from start? Will it be difficult keep straight? Great look though! Hopefully, you’ll have a clear body allowing folks to paint their own scheme up.
I understand what your saying but there's nothing "toy grade" about this. We wanted to make a simple Drag car chassis for just playing around in a parking lot or drag racing/drifting etc.. It's not a road racing car like a FG or MCD.
It's cool don't get me wrong( BUT) It REALLY NEEDS the like Toyan V8 with the supercharger just because something that (Looks) like a hellcat deserves an actual supercharged V8 whether or not it would be faster or slower. Just the sound alone is enough to justify it A Hellcat should NOT sound like a weed eater! This thing is cool though like really cool just saying

The chassis reminds me of a Bolink or Parma car from the 80's...simple design and perfect for a burnout machine as this was designed for. 👍👍🏁

If there is an electric version I'll consider it. Just way too much hassle on setup equipment and maintenance with gas.
We make an electric version also. Gas is very simple now, if you can run a weedwacker you can run this.
