Welcome To Survival-Russia. One of the very best Outdoors and Survival related communities on UA-cam, and yes, It's a pretty good Channel too.
My name is Lars. I'm From Denmark but I live in Rural Russia now. I live at a Homestead in wild nature surrounded by a huge forest.
On The Survival-Russia channel we do all things related to the Outdoors Lifestyle. I share my thoughts and experiences on Survival Techniques for the woodlands of the Northern Hemisphere. the Reality of Survival. I share Techniques and ways of the Siberian Tribesmen and the Russian Longhunters of the older days. Things not shown outside of Russia very much.
On this Channel we also do Off-Road driving, Vehicle builds, Metal Detecting, all things Outdoors basically. Enjoy!

IF YOU WANT A BIGGER FISH YOU NEED TO PROVIDE A BIGGER SUPPER IE. LARGER WORM LOL LOL
Now you are back to basics and what has made your channel so successful. Winderness, camping, nature and being close to God. Thank you for your reply to my previous comment. I wish you well, Lars. 😊
Another awesome adventure! Thanks for taking the time to bring us along.
Thanks for checking out the video my friend.
Solitude and fishing - a perfect adventure.
Another great video!!! Looks like a great place for peace and quiet, except for the skeeters. Stay safe.
The Survival Russia Vehicle sees some action!
Yeah James ))
Looking forward to your next episode already Lars.

Cheers from Maine! 🤘
Catching up on your great material my friend and always learning something new. Thanks for sharing your great experiences with us. Greetings from us and have fun :)
This man is the real deal surviving out in the middle of the wilderness not only on camping trips but living in a village that's deep in the woods
Hello Lars, from the U.S. Love going on your trips. You sure like to stay busy. Best wishes for the family.
🇨🇦 canada here love your show☘❤
Wonderful video Lars , thanks for sharing and bringing us along , always a pleasure, thanks for sharing, YAH bless brother !
I had the exact same shirt with the wolf on it . I got mine at an Indian reservation here in Ontario Canada
Awesome Lars, lekker pike soup, enjoy, you must try out the vanilla liquid that you use for baking, they say this will help for preventing of insect bites, maybe you can test if this works before come, awesome video, regards from South Africa ❤
Super awesome!
So good to see you in the forest again friend! Awesome video as usual
Damn, I love Survival Russia!
I like that new Silky saw you're using at the 9:00 mark, It's a little noisy though!!! LOL! Nice video, Thanks!!
Thanks 👍 New model for 2025!! I always bring a chainsaw and shovel when I drive in the forest.
Nice, lemme just toss you up in the dash so I can watch as I drive across Kentucky and Tennessee!
New to your channel thanks for showing me Russia from the UK.
the rainbow bridge :)
The real one!
Nice Lars, a quite time away fishing with nothing to worry about. (except bears and mosquitos) Good to see you out and about mate. Hello to the SR Family, take care, stay safe.
Thanks 👍
🔥 @ 10:23 Lars makes a bark match to light his camp fire! That was awesome 🏕️
Arf !!! j aime trop votre véhicule 4X4 ,introuvable en France
You can still buy easily from eastern europe, but I don't know the regulations out there. In Hungary, an original military LUAZ is about €4000 with all of new papers - eu registration, serviced with original parts. Without the "veteran class badge" (which has got very exacting standards here, only the mint condition is ok), so an avarage one around €1000 with normal papers, licence plate. You can find some LuaZ-967 M which are amphibious vehicles too. There were a lot in here, but starting to get rare, and their price is getting higher.
Great video Lars more metal detecting in this area would get some decent finds.
You are closing in on the Russian Yeti!!! Dont give up now!!
no milk, not so awesome. i felt that
Thanks for awesome trip, have a nice day
The area where you live is so much like where I live in northern Maine in the US. I love old Soviet vehicles. They are so tough and simple. Great video.
Another good overnighter, plus fishing win win,
We used tree branches back in the past and rocks to get vehicle out of the mud when stuck in the mountains... it can be challenging... ❤
Let there be rock, finally we see you have some rocks. I just find it amazing that you don't have any surface rocks in your area.
Fun with some fishing 🙂
thanks for taking us along
So pretty out there. All that land..
Awesome little solo trip Lars! Here is a little project for your imagination: Attach a two-folding flat base over the "vezdehod". I'm talking a wooden base over which you can erect the tent and sleep high of the ground. I have a over-roof tent like that and it works like magic i promise. No creeping bugs, snakes, water, snow and roaming animals. plus the view is better from high up :-)
Not a bad idea!
Awesome. What a great little vehicle that is u have 👍
Thanks 👍
Thank you , Lars .
(am still Subbed ) .
🐺Loupis Canis .
Awesome!
I would be scared to sleep in a tent knowing there could be 2 bears in the neighborhood 🐻🧸 you are brave!🇷🇺
Russian bears are tame😊
Glad you did some fishing 🍻🤙
🤙
Nice see you Lars out camping then around House
Your videos are getting so good. The content and commentary, editing etc.
Please do an update on the 12 sided house.
0:31 Oh, that's good mud😉
Another auuuusome video! I am currently watching this while making some buckwheat and pork, here in Ontario, Canada. Thanks Lars for a great video
Sounds great!
@@SurvivalRussia Да, very great indeed. Hey brother, what is the state of telegram in russia. Your page has become quiet.
потрясающий
Enjoyed the video!
Good video. The wildlife is very interesting.
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome Video!
JA!
Rainbows are quite amazing. It was good to hear you mention Dima, how's he doing!!?
Trevlig fiske film Lars 👍🏻🤠
Mange tak!
Some really beautiful places there. Would love to have one of those little trucks they just seem to be super simple and tough as nails lol.
Thanks 👍
You could throw a cat through the Lash on that steering box! Thanks for another fun video
You bet!
You should do a review of different bug repellents out there. I live in a humid marshy wooded rural area that’s famous for giant hoards of mosquitoes. Looks
like
Russian mosquito and fly hoards are even worse !
THKS
Pike will swallow those perch whole no problem, I've had a smal pike on and bigger pike attack my fish on in Alberta
Happens here too )))
@SurvivalRussia Thanks for the video SR I feel like very much relating to you Alberta and Russia are so similar I love it
Hi Lars, another enjoyable wilderness trip, yes those forests are vast, those non Perch you were catching I think are Dace, the C is pronounced like an S, all the best to you and your family mate.
Thank you! I think they are also called Common Roach in English. "Сарога" in Russian.
@@SurvivalRussia Ah we learn something new every day, cheers.
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 Cheers m8
Hi mate hope your well 👍
I am still subscribed Lars, I do check every few weeks if I haven't seen an upload in a while. UA-cam does a poor job of showing the channels I'm interested in, in my subscriber feed. Especially if someone else is doing multiple uploads per day and pushing other videos down. I usually just end up going to your channel directly.
We have the same issue in my state with vertical shafts in a town called Coober Pedy. There are signs everywhere telling you not to walk backwards!
If you want to find more rocks, or even the originating outcrop, see if there is a university/government LiDAR scan of your area. should really make stuff standout. good luck from Canada!
Good vid
👍
Hello brother!! )))
@@SurvivalRussia SALAM BRAT ☝🏼
at 24:11, This little guy,.. Is it a stick of dynamite? lol
Sorry.
I had to get that out, but I am glad you're posting these videos. You are an extreme youtuber and we all love you.
Don’t mean this to offend anyone but if I lived in Russia atm I think I’d just leave to the forest and do this lol, seems nice enough
Lars is very brave in exploring the wilderness. You are very fortunate to live in free Russia, where you can do your hobbies without intervention by policeman. God bless your happy healthy life and dear family. 😁🐩
Do you guys have any catfish over there. It looks like a good place to set out a trot line. Catfish is mighty good eating and they get big.
We have them, but not in that river.
Probably a Doe,and a fawn. Sleeping in the grass. From St.Paul,Minnesota.
@@johndemeen5575 Bear or moose. The spot was larger than me.
@@SurvivalRussia Maybe so. Nice place for it.
I rewatched your video on your foot wraps. To see if it would be better to put them in a survival kit than socks. which is better because they are a multi use item. If you are not using them as socks, they can be used as a sling , bandage, or cleaning.
❤
Greetings from iowa i saw on happy people where the folks made bug repellant made from birch bark.whats your experience with that? Allso in bear country do you have a 12bore or some protection. Happy trails
Can you adjust your steering box? Take out the slack?
I'm just seeing this channel after a long time. I never saw your finished house. Yes a real rainbow, not the "woke" one!😂
Fishing hole looks like a big bass
The way you just say probably a bear hahaha so nonchalant
whatever, however, you must put a video each week on the same day. a must to grow. you always have something to show or say.
How come you don't put a winch on your off road auto. One that you can move from front to back easily . Then when you are alone you have a much better chance of pulling yourself out of trouble.
I will have to change the engine for that. It's a small air cooled V4 with a built-in alternator/generator and the cooling fan is attached to it lol It just can't charge the extra battery for the winch. I do have a winch and the conversion kit for another engine though.
Proper Viking
Regards from Niels Lars in Espana!
Not the woke one! lol!! 😂
Have they cut UA-cam off in Russia? Love these vids man, hope all is awesome
@@Jake-ky9ed No. Everything is fine 👌
@@SurvivalRussia are you on telegram? Wife is Russian and she was telling me that they had? Her family was having trouble with it?? Thanks man! And you made yourself into a bear burrito in that bevy tent??
God invented fishing 🎣 for man’s sake to get alone with his thoughts and relax. It’s soothing to the soul.
Go find a North Korean labor camp. 👍👍
👍👍⛺️⛺️⛺️⛺️⛺️⛺️⛺️👍👍😊

The "fire trench" we normally call a firebreak.
The uncovered well scared me. My friends and I used to drive over a large mound, until one day it collapsed. It was actually an extremely deep and wide well. Luckily it collapsed when we were not driving or standing on it (it happened when we were not there -- it is near Orroroo, South Australia if you're interested.) What are the wells like in that village? Are any of them deep?
They are mostly caved in, so not that deep any longer, but some are intact and can be 4-6 meters deep.
Here in Iowa ya have to watch out for old cisters and wells at old farmstead that have gotten grown over with brush.people have fell in and died picking berry's and lost dogs at night hunting.
I want to see how you cooked this fishsoup.
Good god Lars, it appears that if Siberia isn't frozen, it's a freakin mud hole. Do you Siberian folk pray for an early winter?
RoaR
Spider web on elbow lots a bad things this means 😮
It means nothing.
@@SurvivalRussiaSo you just went into the parlor and said "Give me a tattoo of anything you want, anywhere you want, that has no significance" and that's what you ended up with?
Hey do you bring with you fossibot f102 today?
Hey Lars, i am curious what your tactics would be, if you meet a grown out bear alone out there in the wilderness?
The video was great, pretty loud thunder ^^
Good question! I of course think about that at times. It is of course a lot up to the bear. I would try not to run away of course. Maybe try to back off or side step. so to speak. If a bear charges, it is either a bluff charge or not. If not, there is not much one can do. I carry a small pistol and a knife on my chest. I think the knife is the better weapon actually. I will get to it faster and people have actually fended off bears with knives.
Carrying a firearm is not an insurance against anything, as you have to be able to get to it fast. It's also a question if the bear is already stalking you, or it's an accidental meeting bumping into each other. A grown bear can lay down a moose...
Yeah, it´s obviously that you had already thoughts for such a "meeting". I think in the end you are right, it depends so much about the situation - is a young bear with mother involved, or is it a lone bear and how does he act... All that depends on how someone will behave if this happens. I think that another very important thing is to stay as calm as possible. OFC in such a situatioin the heart will beat like it wants to jump out of the chest, but i guess to stay as calm as possible and as you said, not listen to the instinct to run away, because the bear will get you.
Thanks for your thoughts Lars!
@@SurvivalRussia And your foot rations, you never hung them on a higher tree, so that the bear quickly loses all interest in this "cheap food" for him? When we were in Canada this was something we regularily did. In hope that they realise, ok we (the bears) wont get it, so move on... At least it was a tactic we choose - i think the perfekt tactic for such an encounter is written no where. All depends on, what happenes in this encounter. Hope you and your Fam. stays save! We read us in the next chapter =)
If I'm not using my basha I use a Coleman 2 man tent..it has enough room for my gear I the British rain 😂
Tak for endnu en fed video! Hvad er det for en kniv som du render rundt med?
