I’m pretty sure cause “quality” makeup is sold in “official” places instead of retail so once it’s sold at retail it’s seen as bad and kinda trash.

In Germany the tkmax has not “graveyard products” we have like normal clothes here but just ... cheaper like a Calvin Klein thong or Versace handbags and I never saw a single store with this much dirty and used products like in the USA. So trust me it’s so much different gurl.

Plus I’m sure her estate wouldn’t invest that much time and money on suing some random small indie brand, it would make more sense to go after a huge brand like jeffree’s for compensation after all these years
I'm not defending Jeffree Star, I'm more so defending the idea that an "iconic color" or look cannot be 100% copyrighted by a person. So the Anna Nicole lawsuit sounds like a lot of bs to me. Several artists find inspiration from other artists, colors, and fashion trends to make their own version. So if he made a lipstick color in homage to her, just saying she's an icon, that's fine to me. But accusing him of theft of her identity.. that's overkill in my mind. The people that "own" Anna Nicole after her death... are just money hungry and want to steal all they can now that they own her. Would they have made the same lawsuit towards other makeup companies that have the same shade? Or is it just because Jeffree Star made a lot of money on that color, and just because it has her name on it means they can steal that money from him now. Ridiculous. I mean, if you look at Morphe some palettes have at least one color that's almost the same. But not exactly the same. Because colors are trendy. So to say one color connects to a model's identity, even if they wore it frequently, that's insane to me.

The lawsuit says nothing about the colour, just her name. Her estate has every right to control how that gets used.

Y’all forget that if people don’t go on vacation, tourism businesses fall apart? And that then has a huge effect on the people who work for that business. I live in a city that relies heavily on tourism and lockdown hit us really hard, leaving many people in that industry struggling. People going on vacation is kinda important... If they tested negative and they’re being careful, let them be.

My family relies on tourism and hotels haven't really been having a great time. We have what we need to survive, thankfully, but it's scary how everything is going. Hotels have their protocols and all of that, so as long as people are careful and follow guidelines, it's helpful to our economy. :(

Only thing I have to say is I see a lot of people commenting “people are sacrificing themselves by staying home and cancelling trips,parties etc.” when I see the opposite 😳 at least here in Miami, most people are going out to bars, clubs, restaurants and hear the same about states up north. So I’m not exactly sure who is still strictly quarantining? I get that they’re celebrities but (from my perspective) even the general public has moved on and some don’t even wear masks anymore.
That’s so true!! Almost nobody cares about social distancing anymore but when a celebrity goes to vacation is such a big tragedy. I am sure that where they went they had paid to have all the conditions not to get sick and they didn’t walk on the street where everybody is because that are celebrities. So I don’t know how they could infect somebody but anyway.... let’s just criticize people as always cuz why not?

I have literally gone insane multiple times during this pandemic, almost to the point where I wanted to go to a mental hospital. Seeing these influencers go out and travel just makes me sick. People can't see their loved ones for the holidays, the class of 2020 (and now 2021) won't be able to walk across a stage, and I'm seeing my friends and family fall deeper and deeper into depression. There are so many others ways to have fun during these times, but one of them isn't traveling.
I had just got myself out of a pit of depression by getting a job that I loved with people I enjoyed being around. I lost that job during the first lockdown and now I can't find another, I am back were I started and I hate it. Rich people and "influencers" are the worst because they think the world owes them something.
Everything else in this video is understandable, but the people get mad at James for going on Vacation is ridiculous. It's not against the law and there are ways to stay perfectly safe. My wife and I took a trip to Jamaica last month for our 5 year wedding anniversary. We had to provide negative Covid tests, we were screened again when we got there, everyone wore masks, we were keep to ourselves when on the beach and in restaurants, and we returned safe and sound without Covid. My wife is more likely to catch covid from one of her 700 students (which she's required to teach in person for) here in the US than we were on our trip.

Man, my cousin got married to her now-wife in March. I was so excited to go and support her, and it was kind of a big deal because she lives in Alabama. I’m upset that I didn’t get to go celebrate their marriage because of the pandemic, but seeing influencers and celebs traveling and throwing lavish parties like nothing has changed makes it so much worse.
