I've been at the brink of tears all week dealing with a flare of chronic pelvic and bladder pain. My urogynecologist recommended your channel, and so today I followed along with this video and finally was able to feel some release and relief my stressed-out psoas and pelvic floor. Thank you for talking through this video, sharing your story, and for sharing how to heal our bodies.

All signed up and ready for your pelvic tension retreat. I am guilty of ignoring my pelvic pain and tension for over 3 years now but I am ready to make it a priority. I used to think I need to strengthen my pelvic floor but from your videos I now realize I need to release tension. Thank you so much for all your hard work informing us about pelvic health 🤗

Thank you soo much for sharing your journey with pelvic pain. I relate to all of the sensations you've felt on your right side. I am gifting myself with this pelvic tension release everyday for 30 days! The misalignment and tension in my hips have been a hgue source of frustration for me bc it really affects the way I move through space (feels so unnatural). I believe I can heal ;)

Thanks to your advice after a good year or so journey through various consultants I have finally seen a Women’s Health physio. She was so helpful I’m now just starting her exercises but I can draw even more from you. There’s so much to take in 🙂. Who knew 30 years ago that childbirth would leave us with so many weaknesses down the line. I would encourage people to see a physio. No giving up 💪🙏🏻🇬🇧

This worked for me!! I suffer from constant lower back, hip, groin, and referred pain down my left leg (even though I am right dominant). I have tried so many stretches, yoga poses, and exercises to relieve these issues. But this psoas release actually brought relief. I was experiencing quite a bit of lower back pain when I started the release, and I could feel the pain dissipate as the minutes went by. And the massage for the iliacus got a tender spot I didn't even know was there. When I was done and walked around I felt "level." My pelvic area was relaxed. I didn't realize how tense and unbalanced I was before. Thank you so much, Dr. Bri! I will be doing this daily.

Thanks Dr. Bri. You really explained this well. I had gone to PT for my back and this issue actually came up. Unfortunately, my PT hit the wrong spot. Now I know what to do and how to find the iliacus. Your story about pregnancy mimics mine ( 42 years ago) and issues I have had eve since. Thanks for every thing you do.

Wow I have had what a doctor called sciatica for about a decade! (I was pregnant, and told to get used to it 🤷😑) I did this, I honestly didn't think I was doing it right, but I felt a tiny twitch down by my ankle so I stayed at that point. A minute later my entire left leg feels free! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! May God in heaven above bless you abundantly!💖💖

Thank you Dr. Bri again. your work is helping me so much, my left psoas is locked and sometimes gets inflamed, even though i am right handed but i have issues with my feminine energy at the same time and recently I realised that sitting in the car causing pain in my pelvic area. maybe elevating my pelvis would ease the pain while driving. You are an angel, can't thank you enough :)

Hi Bri, your videos are invaluable to me! :) I would love to know if these two muscles when tight, can have an impact on severity of a uterine prolapse? Are they attached in some way to the pelvic floor? I do not have a forward pelvic tilt, if anything, it is the opposite because I notice I subconsciously keep my belly sucked in and tuck my butt so I have zero lumbar curve (flat all the way) which I am desperately trying to get back so I can get my pelvis to tip forward to cradle my organs using the pelvic bones a bit more. I believe many of us were taught at a young age to stand this way and it has really messed up what our bodies were made to do naturally. Thank you!

Hi there, pelvic tension can worsen prolapse. That’s why it’s so important to learn to relax the pelvic floor muscles. I highly recommend visiting a local pelvic floor PT - if possible. They would be able to see how your body is moving and provide individualized advice. Several women in my community has used my Overcome and Lift programs. The first one helps with tension and the second one is helpful for prolapse. Feel free to explore the first week of the programs for free bit.ly/liftforfree and bit.ly/overcomewomenfree Good luck in your healing journey!

I get diverticulitis at least once a year. Recently, I started noticing that I had terrible back pain with the attacks. I think in years past I did not connect the back pain to the diverticulitis attacks. I noticed that the back pain would go away as soon as I started on antibiotics. I think maybe the diverticulitis is impinging on the psoas somehow.
