Loved this clever use of the Amazon bags. I have a ton of them. You are so very clever and I appreciate the step by step instructions that help us newbys so much.
I am going to go to your covers video as I have tons of mailers I've been saving. Amazon junkie here. These tags are so gorgeous. Of course I had to order the fabric. Love it! Thanks Gayle. Love your videos and hearing you say "Hi, It's Gayle!" always makes my heart shine.
I love the way those amazon packages sound. I have thought many times what can I with this because I love the sound!! Of course you came up with something!! Love it!!!1
Jenny messaged me to tell me to watch today and WOW WOW WOW!!! I adore what you made but even more I adore YOU! ❤️ Thank you so much for sharing my fabrics in such beautiful ways!
Great idea!! I will surely have to try it Just keep coming up with things to show us and we will be together forever, Gayle. You just have to keep hanging out with us and we will always be happy crafter. Have a great trip and see you later.
These are so fun! I wish I had Cathe Holden fabric but alas.... I have been making some fabric journal covers so I made matching tags with this method. Thank you so much Gayle for another great idea. I've loved making the new quint tags and quint pockets!
You have inspired me to take a giant leap. Almost a year ago, a friend bought me a small sewing machine as a gift, and it is very different from the one I used when I was sewing all the time, clothing, quilts, original designed aprons and dolls and odds and ends for a consignment shop in town. I have been afraid to even try this one, but if I want to feel the crunch knees of your new tag designs, I think I have to drag her out and thread her up. Wish me luck!
Hi Gayle I love the way you make so amazing tutorials, so we can get a good idea. I love your jelly roll fabrics. And love the journal cover idea so crunching and also love the sound of tags crunchiness ❤❤❤
Had to pause your video to answer the door. Coincidentally I suddenly have three amazon bubbly envelopes to use!😄 And also being a quilter, I have double love for Cathe Holden’s fabrics.💕
Oh my goodness Gayle! I was sure I had seen you make a crunchy journal cover at one point. I made 7 sweet travelers notebooks for 7 sweet young cousins meeting up at the beach this summer. I just knew the kids would love that crunch! I searched all over but never found the tutorial. I attempted to do it from memory but was throughly disappointed in the results. Thanks for the info on how to find the cover tutorial. I’ve only completed one other journal prior to this project. Can’t wait to make more and add these tags to future projects too! You add such fun to my days when I view your videos. Thanks so much.
Genius my friend!! Another great tutorial and wonderful idea for my reference Journal. You sure keep me busy.🤔 TFS. I was in heaven listening to the sewing machine and bubble wrap... Happy crafting noise. There are so many things that are annoying if you have migraines but these are two sounds like a listen to all day long. HUGE hugs & peace be with you Namaste my friends 🥰🐞🤗
Oh, I love this so so much! As someone with ADHD, I am very tactile/sensory seeking and this checks all the boxes for an interactive lovely bit of fun! Another idea…make those “flatty” crinkle dog/cat toys from it…I can’t wait to try it!
That's great Gayle! I've been noticing that Amazon seems to send paper envelopes over in Europe, but plastic here in the US. I am bummed they don't send me paper. But now I see you've given us hope for recycling that plastic into something useful and pretty. Thanks!!!
Good morning! I'm loving this idea! I have two of those envelopes that I saved! At the quilt show, I saw totes made out of the durable plastic chicken and pig feed bags! ❤
These are so fun, Gayle! I’m so glad I’m a hoarder and have held on to several of those bags wondering what I could do with them! 😆 Thanks for the great video!
save time using the cutting board grid and a wheel cutter instead of measuring, marking, picking up scissors… but we do what feels right for us. 🦌💌❤️🙏👍 cutting the corners can be easy if using the angle lines on the mat
I’m a disaster with a rotary cutter! 🥴. But it sure would save time! 🤷🏻♀️. Love the cutting angles on the tags using the mat! That’s one of those why didn’t I think of that moments! 👍❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Same with me, Gayle. I scare myself with a rotary cutter and mangle fabric. May be why I also am wary of craft knives. Pointy things don’t like me! ✂️
You had a brilliant idea with these, just sorry you lost sleep over it!! 😄 They are beautiful. I got a cardboard box with a book yesterday. Has a spine and a flip over piece. Saved it to try and make a journal cover. Waiting on my Flea Market Fresh material to get here!! Have an awesome day...💜
Oh how brilliant! I love the creativity and reuse. Totally gonna make some taggy toys for kiddos with this technique. Only sorry I didn't think of it! 🙃
I wanted to pass along a tip... if you put a piece of felt under your sewing machine it makes it glide across ur table . I just saw Daisy explain this . Love ur videos 💕💕
Such a great idea! I love crunchy sounds in my journals! Put this on my to-do list! And I love to recycle and save things from going into the landfill!
I have a coworker that uses this same method to make pouches or envelopes for her ephemera and for her coupons. She recycles all her bubble mailers and they turn out so Beautiful 😍 I Love how your tags came out tfs🌹
These are awesome Gayle. 🔖 😍 My first love is quilting and sewing 🧵 so this is right up my alley. I’m quite new to journaling. ✂️📚 I have Cathe Holden fabric and all the quilting shops have it here in Australia which is fantastic. I also follow her on UA-cam. Have you watched the tour of Cathe’s craft room? It is amazing and the most gorgeous room I have ever seen. 😍 Thanks for all you teach me Gayle. I haven’t missed a video of yours in years. 😘
I have no idea how I missed this last year, 🤔 Glad I caught it now, though! I have a tall stack of these envelopes, the plastic and the brown paper types. I feel covers and tags o’ plenty taking over my life for the next few days. tfs 😊
What a wonderful idea! But….. I have none of these bags 😢Well, guess I need to go shopping at Amazon now. I wonder how much I need to buy before I get something/things in this bag? 🤔😆And…. Oh wait…. then its off to get me this jelly roll! Its gorgeous!!! You are such an enabler and I love it! Needed a fresh inspiration idea! Thank you! Im off to get shopping after your video! 🛍🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🛍
Good morning sweet Gayle! Hope you have a fabulous weekend. We are heading out for vacation and I'm watching on the road! No worries hubby is driving hehe xoxo
Good morning sweet Gayle! I went and got the rose fabric by Cathe, I’ll be using it with some rose digitals, I need to finish, but couldn’t pass up the fabric! Lol! Amazing job, as always, I get TONS of those envelopes! Big hugs, Bestie! Love you! Chelle
I have a little rectangular tray from a shallow take-out sushi dish to lay my glue bottle sideways so it doesn’t tak3 so long for the glue to flow to the tip.🦌💌❤️📚☕️👍🙏
I’ve been saving these bubble envelopes, thinking I could reuse them to send out again but I like this idea a lot better! I need to also check out your cover video using one the mailer too!
Genius! Now I know what to do with the pile I saved. So glad you have trouble sleeping. Ha ha just kidding. We get our best ideas when we can't sleep. Thanks for sharing.
