Sorry for just seeing this. I use a 10cc syringe. Not sure on needle gauge. I had to bend the bars on my live traps to get the syringe through. Some live cages are built different and have to have major modifications to open a space for the syringe
16 gauge needle, 12cc acetone, just behind shoulder (into lung cavity)
