Yerevan?? Very nice place with many good cafes and restaurants. I lived in Tbilisi. Went to Avlabari bus station and asked for a minivan to Yerevan. The drivers called for a armenian driver, who took me and my cousin to Yerevan. We were the only 2 passengers, van had wifi and it took something like 4 hours, i think. Price was 60 lari per person. We stopped a couple of places, where we bought coffee and sandwiches. And a beautiful scenery when we crossed a mountain. Trip was worth every Lari 😀 That´s the way to go to Yerevan, if you´re in Tbilisi. Enjoy your stay in beautiful Caucasus, mate👍
Thanks for sharing these details Veni Vidi! I have to say that travelling by bus or train across borders almost always lead to better memories than a plane journey. Incredible that you were only two passengers! Thanks for watching my videos and engaging through the comments, I really appreciate it :)
Thanks for the awesome video Willie Explore! I love your easy-going style and your editing keeps on getting better and better! Keep on rocking all over the world!
I like the walking vlogs, Willie, especially as you don't add any library music so the sounds really bring you the atmosphere. So many car horns😂. Shame it rained but I remember you saying there is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes👍( I will be using that line from now on😂)
Thank you Sheila! I like making them too and they add some variety to my channel as well. I will keep them "natural" as well without any music to really showcase the atmosphere. The cars were definitely noisy that evening! Yep, no such thing as bad weather! Haha you have a good memory :)
A new fan. Thank you for your vlogs. Enjoying them immensely. Not sure what that one person was saying but Armenians are very hospitable and enjoy having tourists visiting our beautiful country. Love and peace to everyone. 🇦🇲
Thank you so much for your comment and support dermov! It goes without saying that I'm delighted to hear that you enjoy my content. I had a wonderful time in Armenia and would love to visit again :)
Thank you for watching and supporting my channel Yana! Really appreciate your comment. I really enjoyed my visit in Yerevan and would love to be back at some point. You can be very proud of your beautiful city!
Hey Willie. Your in one of my favourite, favourite countries to visit, the only down side is Armenia makes its visa very difficult for Africans to obtain. Nice video man and much love from Abuja, Nigeria.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! Interesting that Armenia is such a difficult place for Nigerians to visit, I never knew that. Appreciate your support for my channel :)
I will visit my beautiful Armenia next year. I can’t wait. Don’t forget to try apricots and white and black mulberries in Armenia. They are the yummiest and sweetest fruits in the entire world. Hopefully you will stay in Armenia long enough to taste them.
Hi Heidi! Thanks for letting me know about the fresh fruit options! I'm afraid I'm no longer in Armenia but definitely hope to be back at some point. Maybe for a Vardavar festival :) Appreciate your support for my channel and your engagement!
Silent walks are great, but I feel like it's more personalized when you're narrating. The material suddenly becomes more relatable when you share your emotions and experiences. Yerevan looks dope!
Cheers Raf, some of my subscribers / audience like the silent walking tours and I also like producing them as they add a bit of variety to my channel as well. I will always focus on vlogs with narrative though :)
Thank you very much Shubham! You know what, I really want to make more videos of the nightlife of places, but it is difficult with the music and potential copyright issues. As for nightlife, there are many places in the city that will keep you entertained.
Always so nice to take a little walk around the city, Willie! Closest things to actually being there, your hosting. Thanks, as always. BTW, Food & Wine magazine (May, 2023) has a nice article about Armenian wine ... based about 45 min south of Yerevan. Know you're not a "wine guy", but just thought I'd add that in for some of your other viewers. Probably not looking for them, but did you happen to see any/many wine bars in Yerevan? [Greetings from Tucson]
Always such a pleasure hearing from you Jim! Appreciate you joining me on this walk virtually. Now that you've mentioned it, I actually haven't noticed many wine bars in Yerevan. It was a lot more obvious in Tbilisi but maybe I just haven't paid close enough attention. Thanks for sharing that info re the wine area with us! Greetings from across the big pond :)
Love this and the whole concept of it. Just go for a walk, get a sense of the place and its people. By the way, Khinkali rings a bell. I'm pretty sure I saw that name (or possibly ate it) in Georgia. In fact as I type this I realise it's those dumplings with meat inside. Lekker!
Thank you so much Peter! Yes the intent with the silent walking tours is to just that. And yes, the dumplings I also had in Tbilisi are in Yerevan too! Lekker for sure :)
Lekker JanJan! Dankie dat jy kyk. It is tough as I explored many fun parts, but maybe Abovyan Street is my favourite. And of course the Cascade Complex and Republic Square. This is a bit like asking me what do I prefer between biltong and braaivleis!
Сколько красивых людей.
An incredible city!
Nice video. Beautiful city. I was there in March and enjoyed it a lot.
Cheers Manny! Yep, certainly a great (and in my view underrated) destination :)

Dear Willie, thinking of visiting Greece?
I will also wait for your videos of the sights of magical Greece!
@@yanaAG2008 I love Greece but not sure when I'll be heading there. Such a lot of world to see! Which part is your favourite?

Hi Willie,
Nice clip...
Can you please make a video on nightlife as well ..
Or if can you suggest about nightlife in yerewan?

I appreciate the silent walking tours are not for everyone but there are those who do like them :)
It seems like you were not lucky with the weather 🤔
There are two ways to look at it Kara - I never experienced Yerevan at night in the rain before! :)

Definitely on my bucket list Jaad :)
Hi Willie, are you still in Armenia?
Hi vanadzor, no I am not, but I do have more Yerevan content coming shortly :)
