The rivets from amazon and the tool to install them makes the job a lot easier, also drilling out the center of the old rivets makes them easier to remove, already installed mine, looks like they came from the factory, thanks again for the video
Just bought the flares from mopar online after watching your vid, for my 2dr rubicon. Ended up ordering a 50 pack of rivets from amazon for $9.... hoping they work
Get a set of 17” x 9” or 9.5”wheels with a -12 or -18 offset and your 37’s will look way better. Right now they are being squeezed so much by the factory 7.5” wide wheels its making the tires look weird. They have that pizza cutter look on the factory wheels
Rear flares fitted well for JT ? Some other guys posted that they used front flares to the rear fenders. Before place my order online, would be much appreciated with getting confirmation from you.
I haven't had any issue running the stock flares on my JT but I did have to bend then to the correct angle of the fender (the same to be expected if running front extensions on the rear). You will get more coverage using the front extension. I would also recommend using the proper plastic rivets and not be impatient like me lol
I've definitely been interested in a hemi swap. The current v6 is rated a 270 lb.-ft of torque and just a 5.7 hemi has 410 lb.-ft and the bigger engins take it even further. Right now I just dont have the funds for a swap
There is a 2nd video I uploaded later woth the rear install. I didn't have the flares yet they were on back order. They are WRANGLER flare extensions so some modifications is needed but they do fit

Thanks, I intend to go with AEV salta xr later when I have the funds but for now i like my JK take off wheels.
What do you think installing of the rear ones in the front of the fender flare to protect the door more?
How are the fasteners holding up? Im thinking about installing them this way, too.
They held up good.

Nice Gladiator!
As a XR owner. I think the flare extensions are useless.
Thanks
Will these work on non Rubicon models (i.e. Sport models)?🍻
I assume the angle is the same, but im not sure and the sport models have a small lip to them already
Wish they make them for jk
I've seen some JKs with flare extensions, but idk where they get them
Interested in he move swap
