I sometimes dream of starting my own car company, to make cars like this again. Simple, yet timeless designs, that everyone loves, especially I dream about making a car like the AE-86 Hatchback, in the modern age, with the retro look and interior. Love the 86, I hope it and the owner best of times and drives!

Well actually I was contemplating this too. I scroll down and I found your comment. If I had enough money, I would definitely setup a small but proper plant that will simply re make the cars from scratch, engine included. I would first of all buy the rights from the original companies and hopefully get all the info on those models. If there is a way around this, that is also fine. My main objective would be to make these cars slightly modern, like introducing airbags, Modern gauge cluster and a slightly better dashboard, not too much improvement otherwise the whole aesthetic will be ruined. And of course some bad known issue will have to be resolved as well, like improved gear boxes. 6 AT where possible, 6 Manual where possible. There are a lot of iconic classic cars that people lust after. I will have to rebrand these cars of course e.g SAZ AE86 or SAZ Esprit etc.. And yes, I will ship all over the world. All in all, I just want people to enjoy classic cars just like I do. I really hope that dream comes true, because I really do have the skill and the will to run a small company like this and just give people the cars that they really want.
