I have one that I bought 5 years ago and it's a BEAST! It outperformed every machete I've owned and it's my favorite go to tool. Over the years I've beaten the absolute tar out of it and it's still a terrific tool! If all of the Cold Steel machetes I own, it's my favorite all around beater.
Mine for sure, no doubt. You ever try throwing them? They are very aerodynamic. Nothing beats a Kukri. They come in many sizes too. I have many. I have yet to find a Bull Kukri (very large).
When you can buy something like this for less than $50? That's just awesome. It's not meant to break concrete for 10 hours and still be sharp. It has functions intended for its design. Cutting, slashing, chopping, piecing is what it's made to do. And it does it well. No one beats Cold Steel.
@@David_Downs - I get it. You've never bought anything from Cold Steel. I buy nothing else. I see knives and various weapons in many stores at 2xs the price of Cold Steel products. Their name is of ZERO value to me. I've been a fan of Cold Steel for almost 30 years now. I have almost 100 products from them, at least 45 are knives. I'm not getting paid by Lynn Thompson. I'm just giving you my honest opinion. I'll bet there is some Japanese dude out there that sells a Katana for $25,000 that is a little better than the best from Cold Steel. But at $1,000 for something almost as perfect as that from that dude in Japan.... I'll take Cold Steel any day. Not even a hesitation. And then I'll take my $24,000 that I saved and buy a few more pieces of Cold Steel.
I got one of these as a gift a few years back, it's pretty cool. definitely one of their more piratical machetes, we have lots of bamboo, seems to do the job.
In France online vendor sell it for 45 50e, on usa online shop its 20 24 USD.. i want to buy everyone of your machete but i prefer to buy directly from u guys!
The Khukuri has been used in Nepal for over 2,000 years as a utility tool and a weapon the shape of the blade the Kopis was brought to India when Alexander the invaded India then the Indians adopted the Kopis and then the Kopis blade was brought to Nepal were they ended up calling it a Khukuri or sometimes called a Kukri but Kukri is actually the wrong name for the knife Kukri actually means Chicken lol

These are the reviews people need .
Very good. Excellent even..
👍
Also nearly no shock to the hand, I noticed myself.
Once the baby get a good edge put on it, its unstoppable as a chopper or weapon.
The kukri is one of my favorite swords

Never change, Lynn.... never change 😂
Hard to imagine better.... 😎
I have 2 of these. One is my beater & one I put s convex edge on. Great bit of kit!!
They should use a genuine human leg from the morgue IMO.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they did lol
I did not expect you guys to upload anytime soon but now that you have can you guys go back to ballistic gelatin dummy tests?

Are they sold with a edge nowadays ? would be good if they are because all the others haze good or fairly good edges out the package
Obviously you've never bought Cold Steel.... all are razor sharp.
@@redfaux74 lol, a lot of machetes do not come sharp from the factory, regardless of brand...
@@David_Downs - You pay for those. I buy mine from Cold Steel.
Does your phone work when you walk out of the store? Your car? Oven? Lawnmower?

'I'm gonna try to cut his leg off' - Lynn Thompson
Good enough.... He won't be walking.
I got one hoping I'd come across a hanging pig sometime
Had this been the heavier spine kukri, that swing would definitely have done it.
