Income Tax Return (ITR U), ITR-U filing for Refund?, How to File ITR-U, Updated Return filing

Every year income tax return is filled till 31st July for non audit cases and till 31st October if Tax audit is applicable and in case you missed the original return filing date then one more date is available to file Belated ITR which is 31st December. But if you missed the date of belated return also then only one option left with you is to file updated return (ITR-U) for which last date is at any time within 24 months from the end of the relevant assessment year.
