Hi Dr. Aniket. I Am a student from Indonesia and I am enjoying your lecture. Regarding your last question, I want to give a shoot on that. So, Cobalt has an oxidation state of +3 in both complexes (d6 system for ionic form). (1) complex [Co(Cl6)]3- is expected to be a paramagnetic species with four unpaired electrons (2 electrons in T2g non-bonding, and 2 others in Eg* anti-bonding). Since Cl- is a weak field ligand then it would give small Delta Oct. (10Dq) in the splitting profile and results in high spin configuration (two unpaired electrons would occupy the Eg*). (2) complex [Co(NH3)6]3+ is envisioned to have a diamagnetic property with all electrons paired (including six electrons on the T2g orbitals). This configuration is related to the nature of NH3 which has occasionally robust field ligands in the Cobalt system, even though it is a weak field ligand in the general system.
Just completed all the lectures sir.The way you've put the things are really helpful and understandable easily.kudos to your hard work..Thank you very much. Have a nice day
Hello. Thank you for your nice video. I have a question, how we can draw molecular orbitals for the octahedral compounds like [PbBr6]4-? since it is post-transition metal and the 3d orbitals are already full, so we need to just go one layer upper and consider 4d with higher energy than 4s and 4p?
Sir, Here if t2g orbital has lower energy than eg then why we can't pair electrons in t2g level in fe(cl)6 2- complex? It's confusing..Please explain the concept of pairing energy ..
Axial and lateral bonding For example Pz participate in sigma and px and py participate in pi bonding Similarly dz2 and dx2-y2 participate in sigma bonding whereas dxy dyz and dxz participate in pi bonding

It's very easy to understand this concept by watching your class.thank you for your efforts and dedicated mind to your passion.

I didn't understand MO theory that well but after watching this video I feel better thank you! subscribed :)
Good Lecture, Nicely delivered, Loved that.
thank you, Sir.
a lot of love from Pakistan.
Nicely explained 👍🏻
Thank u Sir. This helped me very much.🙏
Greatly explained thank you
Respect and love from Lahore, Pakistan ❤
It's really helpful sir... ✨

Why enerygy of a1g*is less than t1u*

Very nice sir . Always filled ligand orbitals , If neutral ligand or positive ligand it donate always two electron pair ?
Thanks sir. This video has really helped me.
Best explanation 👌👌
Yes
Thanks a lot sir good explanation keep uploading the video's sir
Useful information
Sir i wanna know about the mot diagram and explanation of cr (co)6.....plzzzz
Thank you. This was really helpful. 👌🏻❤️
Thank you so much sir. Very helpful lacture for me
Sir plz Tell me how we determine strong ligand and weak ligand
Halogen and water consider as weak ligand and except are strong
On the basis of splitting parameter
you are the best!!!! thank you so much!!!!
Appreciate the Video my man
Sir please make a video on MOT of tetrahedra and square planar also
Outstanding video
Very nice presentation
مرحبا أمينه بالتوفيق ان شاء الله
Thaankuuu so much sir 🌟 these vedioes are very helpful 😊
Well understood. Thankyou 👌
Great work
Good explanation sir
Sir, how we are going to differentiate sigma and pie
Axial and lateral bonding
For example
Pz participate in sigma and px and py participate in pi bonding
Similarly dz2 and dx2-y2 participate in sigma bonding whereas dxy dyz and dxz participate in pi bonding
Great explanation
It is very good explanation
Good one 🙂
Best explanation
Sir help me on how to write elecrtonic configuration of MOT
Follow the sequence of orbitals from lower energy to higher
Follow aubau principle and hunds rule
Can you refer the book name from that you gave the explanation with diagram sir. I want to that book name. Sir i am expecting you reply.
Inorganic chemistry by Madan, Sharma
1.strongly paramagnetic
2.diamagnetic
Thank youuu sir very helpful
This video very helpful me
[co(NH3)6]^3+ this complex stable or not
Stable
thank you
sir plse upload application of MOT to tetrahedral complex
Thank you so much
Why t1u orbital energy is less than eg...and t1u* occupied highest antibonding orbital
Good job
Very nice 👌 sir
Wow thank u finally!
Good explanation
NH3 weak legand or strong legand ?
I hope you answer..sir
Strong
Very Nice
Thank you sir....
