I can’t wait to see what your new embroidery project becomes. So exciting. I also listened to Barons and found it fascinating. I am interested to read Seven Fallen Feathers. Great video as usual. Thanks.
I really enjoyed Collected Regrets… Glad you were able to check out Seven Fallen Feathers. That story is unfortunately ongoing. Rules of Civility is on my TBR. Great new project for your sister too. 😊💙
Wonderful embroidery project. I’ve heard good things about The Collected Regrets of Clover. I’ve read one Amor Towles - The Lincoln Highway - and it was great.
Reading up on the history of the Monopoly board game is actually really interesting! It started out as a game about landlords and how rents are used to enrich the landlords and impoverish the working class. It is supposed to show us that monopolies are a bad thing!
Both nonfictions sound important but infuriating. I own Rules for Civility but I'm not super excited to get to it. I dnfed A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles because nothing really happened, so I'm hesitant to try another of his books. Have you read it?
I haven't read A Gentleman in Moscow but if you DNFed for that reason I don't think you would like Rules for Civility! But if you wanted to try Amor Towles I would recommend The Lincoln Highway because that is a bit more of an adventure type story and more happens.

Thank you so much 😊 I hope you enjoy Seven Fallen Feathers! It was such a good one!
I'm glad you liked Rules of Civility! The transportive power is what won me over, too!
Thank you for the recommendation! It really swept me away and I had a lovely time with it!
That vocal anatomy diagram is impressive ! Very creative.
Thank you so much! I am excited about it 😊

Thank you so much! I have really loved the list you compiled of Canadian Literature. It has helped me find some really amazing books!
What a great start/end of the year reading for you Hannah! Glad you liked Barons, I now need to go sample the narrated version haha
Thank you so much for the recommendation! It was a good one!

Thank you so much! I really liked The Lincoln Highway as well!
Barons sounds good--makes me wonder how we ever got 'Monopoly' as a fun board game--it should be a reviled word in America, no??? :P

Sad collection
If you are referring to the topics of the books then yes! Some of them are pretty sad. But honestly not my most depressing week of reading 😅
wait a minute. I just realized you were talking about Clover's collected regrets 😂🤦♀
