Kamala kotnis acted in both Hindi. Telugu and Tamil movie's in 1940's, Hindi film hero Devanand's first film was with her. Kamala kotnis sister Leela rani was married to Raja of Ramnad, The Sethupathi clan. They had two children Lata Sethupathi and Raj kumar Sethupathi. Lata was a top most telugu/ tamil heroine of 1970's ,she acted with all major hero''s like NTR, ANR ,SOBHAN BABU, MGR and many more actors, currently she's doing charactor roles mainly in tamil and telugu serials, she was offered mla seat by ntr for the kodumur constituency(Kurnool reserved) but she refused. Her lesser known brother Raj Kumar Sethupathi also acted in few tamil/ telugu films as hero,and is married to Sripriya, a popular yester year's heroine.
