Check out another fun tutorial on the blog about quilting in my machine using 12 weight: www.sugarstitchesquiltco.com/blog/machine-quilting-with-12-weight-thread
Excellent extensive information in this tutorial not only the threads, but bobbin suggestions and needles. Each facet is so important and as a beginner, I so appreciated that you didn't assume that we knew talking about each facet. Thank you!
Like your other commenter, I’m glad you included needle size and bobbin thread. That was my first thought was not knowing which needle to use and you covered that for machines. Does the same hold true for hand quilting and piecing? I do both. Also for hand applique? I don’t do much paper piecing. This was so very helpful and eliminated a lot of confusion!

I love that you included the needle size and bobbin thread weight. Thanks!
You’re welcome! That always confuses me!

No, not the same considerations for hand quilting and piecing. Good luck! Thanks for watching!
@@sugarstitchesquiltco ok thank you. Is there a chart somewhere with that info or should I just google the info? Thanks again.
Great information for a beginner like me, thank you!
Very informative. Thank you.
I always put the same thread in the bobbin as I am sewing with . Is this incorrect?
Depends on which weight you are sewing with. 40 and 50 weight would be ok but not the other weights.
Where is the pdf for the chart shown in your video
