    Holy cow! A fireplace surrounded by piles of scrap wood. What could go wrong there? Love your videos. Stay safe!

      No worries ~ he can just grab an oily rag from the pile in the corner & beat out the flames. 😂

    The color grading, product placement, stove subject deviation to fill time.. your videos are getting better and better! Oh, the cabinet is good also.

    Cabinet looks to be super sturdy, but watch for the j-box location. It's critical. the electrical whip on the GE double wall oven is like 3 feet only.
    Also, to give you more depth, don't even put a back to the cabinet on. Leave it open to the drywall. Then the electrical whip wont get bunched up behind when installing!

    • @droolbunnyxo9565
      @droolbunnyxo9565 5 років тому

      Good common sense but having a back keeps the cabinet stable & prevents racking, yes?

    • @TheHandyman1
      @TheHandyman1  5 років тому +2

      Yes the back is structural. It is only 1/2" thick

    Question The Handyman - Why did you put the pocket holes on the outside of the frame rather than the inside? Are you skinning the outside? Thanks

    • @TheHandyman1
      @TheHandyman1  5 років тому +1

      Yes. Since there are 3 different boxes that make up this one massive cabinet the outside gets skinned.
