Yeah 2nd all this. This podcast in general but def Maddie specifically has helped me sort out some gender sexuality stuff just by having well said, interesting, and different perspectives.
Was hoping to hear the "Vanessa" story but we got Jen AND we got Jen and Maddie teaming up to top Ashley so I can wait at least another week for "Vanessa" because this was awesome.

Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together ,it was a really bad phase but we got through it.
there is a lot of sense in what you just said and I hope mine works the same way too, we are currently separated but I cant live without her, I love her so much. wish I can get her back I can do anything to have her back, we have tried therapy amongst other things
its always difficult to let someone you love go, but in my case I had the help of a spiritual adviser who saved my marriage from collapsing her name is SHELLY RENEE WHITE.

42:14 "I'm more heteroromantic, than heterosexual." As a late in life, comphet lesbian, I felt that. Above the waist crush is so real. I honestly attribute it to only having straight relationships represented growing up. I'm only sexually attracted to women, but I only ever saw hetero relationships portrayed my whole life (as the thing expected of me), so the wires get crossed in my brain; where I can imagine cuddling with an above the waist man crush, slight PDA, but when I try to picture having sex or even kissing a man, my whole body cringes. Straight relationships are all I'm used to seeing, so my brain just pictures a kind of default-heteronormative mode.

I agree about the mindfulness thing. That's why it was borderline confusing for me when people started suggesting it as some new thing. I was born in 1979. I grew up mindful. I still am. Same goes with the exercise of "grounding", i.e. walking barefoot on the earth. That's just... how I walk. I grew up in a semi rural area, and we always went barefoot. That carried into adulthood.

Not to be super creepy with this knowledge but actually selling your eggs could make you so much money. There is a big scarcity of Ashkenazi Jewish donations and lots of people search for it specifically for religious reasons of course and because there is more jewish people needing donations to prevent some genetic disorders. I know the word queer has been used to hurt some of us, and you're more than welcome to not use it or identify with it, but many people have reclaimed it and it's been fairly widly accepted as an umbrella term to mean someone whos not cishet.
Gay can also be an umbrella term in some ways, but I think for some people there's a more concrete meaning to it. And the word gay has also been used to hurt people before.
Queer is helpful cuz beyond sexuality it’s inclusive of gender which can be helpful for me when describing others whose labels I don’t know. But otherwise I love gay for everything else
