I've done that, then hooked myself with the other hook. Talk about a bad day. Now if I'm fishing conventional gear or fly fishing, I fish barbless. I found I don't really loose fish very often like you'd think.

That did not look like a dan good time. Only thing that would make it better would be to eat that fish with spicy dano’s. Remember to pop that that trigger finger!
