I remember renting this game from blockbuster when it first came out...............let me tell you, in that first level in the tower when you first encounter no.9.............that shit fucked with my head for years lol
It is simply amazing how Aya makes the 1973 AMC Matador police sedan look cool. This is the kind of car that would get crashed into rivers on The Dukes of Hazzard.
except she neighs like a horse in this version, if they replaced it with something like the roaring noise the brute from Monstrum makes it would be a whole lot better
That scene gave me nightmares when I was six years old, and my brother and my cousins used to play it. I could still remember the shape of that monster!! But when I saw the desert chaser that was another thing; I was like, 'meh'
@Gulimon In this game aya faces a new creation, AMNCS or artificial neo-mitichondrial creatures which are a result from genetic Breeding, Aya later finds out that the AMNCs were created from her own DNA in attempt to build new superior beings. I'm sure there's more to it, but that is all I am sure of.
Resident Evil is sometimes good and never cared much for Dino Crisis but Parasite Eve will always have a place in my nostalgia heart. It would be awesome to see Square Enix make a remastered version just like the upcoming FF7.
So, this is probably a stupid question (especially since I've never played the second one) but, why are people affected by the mutations now? I know before, all they did was light on fire or combust right away and virtually melt, but this is different. How are they mutating into strange beings now whenever they didn't before? Why?
este juego era muy bakan y muy difícil a la vez,y la protagonista muy linda durante su juventud(si es que envejece) y no habia diálogo en los videos, que notable.
Also, I wonder if in old age, Aya will finally succumb to mitochondrial domination. Like, her nuclei are protected by a barrier, but like the telomeres at the ends of our chromatids, they'd wear down over time.
+Guilmon470 She doesn't stay young forever. She'll age, which explains how she matured after the car crash her and her sister went through. In the Dryfield apartment bathroom mirror, she'll remark how she's in her later years (I think she says about 30 or so) but she looks like she's in her early 20's because her mitochondria choose a younger, more fit form. What I'm thinking is that her rate of age biologically is subdued, so her body will technically age and be subject to time, but her anatomy won't change as quickly as normal humans. She could end up a 70 year old woman, but she could only look 30-40 years old or so if my theory was right.
i thought its because the goverment experimented with the virus. im not totaly shure anymore. sry for my bad english. hope this helps: parasiteeve.wikia.com/wiki/Parasite_Eve_II
What are you smoking, ingesting, or absorbing rectally? The visual and sound design of Parasite Eve 2 EASILY equals those of the first game (the CG backgrounds in particular are still top-notch to this very day). As for the atmosphere...what Parasite Eve 2 loses in pure shock value, it more than makes up for it in subtle horror...because of the specific origin of the monsters this time around.
Back to the past....20 years +......what a times ....what a childhood 👍thanks
parasite eve
resident evil
dino crisis
my childhood is awesome
The mutations in the game always freaked me out as a kid, and to this day they still do.
YuukitheMighty1 same lol

Me too! Lol

this shit is true terror. if this was re-made in current gen i would freak out. that first mutation man....
except she neighs like a horse in this version, if they replaced it with something like the roaring noise the brute from Monstrum makes it would be a whole lot better
XDDDD That one cutscene is terrifying... Until the horse whinny.
+Guilmon470 lmaoooooo omg it is a horse haha
That scene gave me nightmares when I was six years old, and my brother and my cousins used to play it.
I could still remember the shape of that monster!!
But when I saw the desert chaser that was another thing; I was like, 'meh'
to this day i dont think ive enjoyed a single player game more than this one. It wasnt easy either, and way ahead of its time graphics wise.
Graphics simply don't matter on this game... It's just the best game of my childhood
***** Resident Evil 1 was awesome too
+wtfmanicanthaveaname agreed
wtfmanicanthaveaname play halo 2
Absolutely adored the first transformation. Always have
Number 9 cutscene was a bench mark for years to come
I always loved this game, more into it than the 1st one
12:33 boys, never bring a laser bayonet to a gunfight.
RE RELEASE THIS GAME HD!!!!
@Gulimon In this game aya faces a new creation, AMNCS or artificial neo-mitichondrial creatures which are a result from genetic Breeding, Aya later finds out that the AMNCs were created from her own DNA in attempt to build new superior beings. Let me rephrase that: ANMCs created from her "stolen" DNA!
Shocking, isnt it?
When acid kicks in
love psx cutscenes!
12:59 SEMPER FI!!!
Resident Evil is sometimes good and never cared much for Dino Crisis but Parasite Eve will always have a place in my nostalgia heart. It would be awesome to see Square Enix make a remastered version just like the upcoming FF7.
GALERIANS
This is such a badass game, love it
they need to make a proper sequel on PS4... would be so amazing
Andre Frazier the prequel is in the form of a live action movie warning has no action or monsters
I would personally perfer reboots of both PE1 and 2. The third one was... meh, in my opinion.
to be fair, the movie was based on the original book, which isn't really anything like the games lol
Damn, I swear there is more cutscenes then this. I must have gotten so sucked into the game i thought I was watching the damn thing not playing it.
Oblivion Lord
That was the best feeling about the game.
i am currently 14 and ive loved this game better than any other since i was 6. so close to beating the dryfield night =D
it was a nice game, weird and creepy too.
i love it....... i'm on the next place too! =3
3:16 i fucking died i expected a scary ass roar or something then it makes this fucking sounds XD
Shame... We will miss you, Aya.
loved running into animated mutated forms of what seemingly were crypto zoological creatures
So, this is probably a stupid question (especially since I've never played the second one) but, why are people affected by the mutations now? I know before, all they did was light on fire or combust right away and virtually melt, but this is different. How are they mutating into strange beings now whenever they didn't before? Why?
Wow graphics looks way too awesome for a ps1 game
12:48 Merica!!! FUCK YEAH!!

5:20 what is she watching?
Great game, love till now! xD

+Guilmon470 ...Except I forgot the fact that she stays young forever. Shoot. >.< Been a while since I've played in this series.

I wish that all three games gets a PS4 and XBox One edition.
This game looks like resident evil 3 -_-
best game ever...
Was that Maya?
Not even. That's Aya, and the little girl she saves is Eve. They become sisters in the aftermath.
A part la fin! J, ai bien vue toutes ces scènes du jeu! J, étais pas loin de la fin il ya si longtemps! hihi
¿Por que no existe Parasite Eve 2 para PS2?
11:55 - 12:15 what was that thing
that was the final boss. I used to call it "the baby" xD
it's like the brood mother from dragon age had sex with the blob
HORSE 3:16
Horse sound, but a hideous looking monster. My brother and my cousins played it; when I saw that scene, it gave me nightmares!!
I know I also had that game being young, but it's still ridiculous anyway !!
Not to mention the golem Aya fights at Akropolis tower....
i thought its because the goverment experimented with the virus. im not totaly shure anymore. sry for my bad english.
hope this helps: parasiteeve.wikia.com/wiki/Parasite_Eve_II
is it just me or does this game look like crap in comparison to the first
Nope. It looked worse, sounded worse, and lost a lot of that juicy dark atmosphere. Still an okay game though.

....a fucking horse sound....???
PE=masterpiece
PEII=UTTER CRAP.
I just can't get used to how they fucked it up....
