The upper atmosphere of Venus is actually quite safe to humans in both composition and temperature, but keeping buildings suspended above the clouds of sulfuric acid is something of a complicating factor.
I don't think there necessarily has to be any "alternate reality" stuff beyond what is normal in fiction. I think it's simply the future and authoritarian governments have renamed stuff and/or language has evolved.
I think it's also interesting to mention that Pluto is the Greek God of the Underworld, which surely fits the whole experience on Leng and in the game in general.

There are more datamined cutscenes? Dang, too bad Yuri doesnt want people to bother with those in regards to lore. Will you ever post datamined content as a "history" of the development of Signalis instead?
When I first reached the orrery it really bothered me, I know the order of the planets so it confused me why some seemed to be missing. I figured since the orrery said "inhabited worlds" when interacting with it, humanity just skipped out on Mercury, Uranus, and Neptune. The system works as our own excluding those planets, why a space-faring civilization would pass up all that land just to beeline for Pluto I'm not sure.
@@Cristiferbeast i do have another question but I know it shows signs of the game having males such as Adler but, in Signalis are there more females than males? I know the game was suppose to focus on lesbian relationships currently but I wanna know what happened to the male population?

@@Cristiferbeast True. That's why I, for once, feel lucky that Signalis is translated to russian so well. Arguably, it is better than english version - both german and russian names pronounciation just work (Like Eule that are translated as "Ойле" = "Oile").
Also, "Red eye" on Rotfront reminds me of Jupiter's neverending cyclone.
That is a pretty neat connection! I wonder what that could mean.

Build a really big vaccum then

Given the interplanetary artillery, I wonder if wars are fought with extreme mobility with few 'bases'? If your base is found it's already dead
I believe that Leng is a reference to Lovecraftian Plateau of Leng, a place that exists in Dreamworld, which you can access through dreams
Most certainly, thou it’s physical appearance in the solar system and what we see of it is quite akin to Pluto

Could be alternate history,reality,far-future. Im leaning towards alternate history due to the nation rescuing old communist german symbology
Pretty much. One note clearly states that they take langue serious
I came here to mention this idea.
Germany conquered the world and communism is back?

Keep doing these videos bro! The Signalis lore is been more and more understandable!

Its german history so you have 3 empires you can choose from. Hope its not the last one.

when thinking by the fact of Signalis, all languages were combined. the solar system should same as we now. this game have a lot of interesting lore.
nice video! this game kinda flew under the radar but it has tons of lore
for me buyan is like venus, kitezh is mars, rotfront is jupiter's moon, leng is pluto or maybe uran's neptune's moon, vineta is Earth
Not russian gods, slavic*. Slavic paganism to be exact

Pronunciation of the planet names were rather odd (especially Kitezh), but that aside this was a good little summary. 😅
T^T my pronunciation is awful
Oh god... The pronounciation
Man...
Great vid regardless

The question is, how do they speak? I know its inspired by Russian or German and Chinese cultures but I wonder what they're accents are
That’s a valid question, I’m rather curious about it myself! In my head they speak German with various accents
