I'm considering getting this pool vacuum but I'm concerned that the lithium ion battery will fail in 3 years and it does not appear that the company does not sell a replacement battery and they do not say that it is replaceable by the end-user. Any thoughts.
Always a concern, but the company has a lengthy reputation of quality products, so a risk im willing to take with them vs these off the wall new companies ive never heard of.

I was just reading online about a new one called the Dolphin Liberty 800 (not available yet) but it looks like they designed it so that you actually remove the battery with each use and bring it over to the charger. This could be very handy in that you have 2 batteries always ready to go.
