I just started using the Curlmix products. My hair is about the same length as yours, & Curlmix has my curls popping. Your hair looks so good & your skin is flawless. Thanks for the video!
RIP To my favorite shampoo and conditioner: Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo and Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioner that was the only shampoo and conditioner I used for years…I can’t believe they are discontinued 😩…Shea Moisture has come to my rescue. What’s your favorite moisturizing shampoo?
@@gograybechic I cannot believe it!!! Most companies get conditioner right but Elucence has THE BEST shampoo PERIOD!!!!! It never felt like it stripped my hair. It was extremely moisturizing. My hair felt so manageable after the shampoo alone and the conditioner paired perfectly!!!!! I miss them 😫. I compare every shampoo & conditioner to them and hold on to the ones that are most similar.
Giovanni 2chic avocado and olive oil shampoo and Joico treatment balm for conditioner. Gel: Camille rose curl maker. Most days I just use foam (lotta body) to style my hair to avoid product buildup and a little gel on the edges.
I’ve used shampoo & conditioner by Giovanni before thanks for reminding of another great brand. I’m gonna try foam in place of gel to see if that works with my hair too. Thanks for sharing great products to try!
Thanks so much for sharing your routine, it's been very helpful! I used to have a bald head, I used clippers to shave my head. I've let it grow out during the "panaroma" and I didn't know how to take care of hair! What do you do to your hair at night? My hair is all flat in the morning! Edited to add: Would you mind sharing what combs you are using?
I am glad you found this video helpful. At night I usually apply my scarf as I would in a pineapple as if my hair was long. The back and the sides are usually flat in the morning but the top and the front usually has some noticeable coils left. The shorter the hair is the easier it is to maintain the coils. I remove my scarf as soon as I wake up in the morning. Usually the moisture from the shower makes the coils lift and my hair is not as flat anymore so when it’s at its shortest I don’t have to do much but pull down the frizzy pieces with a little bit of gel rubbed on my fingertips. I believe the last time I cut my hair was about four months ago. When I stretch my hair in the front it reaches the bridge of my nose and at this length it requires more effort to maintain the coils. Now after a shampoo or co-wash I finger coil some areas in the front, sides and middle in order to help minimize frizz. The next morning I just re-wet my hair in the shower and shake off the excess water. I use my fingertips to lightly fluff the coils and follow up with the end of a rat tail comb to lift areas throughout making it all even. The combs use are from a pack of combs I got from target (could not find a link for it). No name brand but look for:10PCS hairstylist professional styling comb set variety pack. I will link something similar in the description box.
Thank you!!! LOL @ “ ( you no wah see it ) it’s a mess.” I’m sorry to hear that you don’t like your cut but I am so glad you’re taking it well because it will start growing soon and you’ll eventually be able to reshape it into a style that works for you. I’ve had a few bad cuts and colors I had to live with for a couple weeks before I could start all over again 😂 That’s the beauty of short hair you can see noticeable growth quickly and change up your look every month. I hope you find a style that works for you soon.
@@sagittariusvibez5081 My stylist used Pravana Chromasilk Extra Light Blonde 10N and 40 Volume developer to dye my hair blonde. I used Clairol Natural Instincts Semi-Permanent, 4 Dark Brown to return my natural hair color in my previous video.
Thank you for this video. I’m going for my second big chop in a couple of months. This time I plan to keep in short for a while. P.S. I’m not a baby hair expert either 😂
I’ve always categorized my hair as 4C mainly from my experience before my big chop... My hair was extremely shrunken in it’s natural state and very time consuming to detangle because of its tight coils. Whenever I tried following UA-cam tutorials of different hairstyles my hair never turned out right -twist outs and braid outs always resulted in a head full of frizz and definition never lasted beyond a day or two. Usually the person in the tutorials that I followed did not have 4C hair (they usually had 4A/4B hair)which led me to assume that my hair is for 4C. It is not my intention to mislead anyone. For better accuracy...The very back of my hair is fine and has loose curls. The top and the sides of my hair are very coiled. The crown is the most tightly coiled and overall my hair can appear dry with a bit of sheen. My stylist defines my curl type as Very Coiled-Type VII on Mizani’sNatural Curl Key.

I don’t think you have 4c hair. The way your hair is when it’s wet and dry is more like 3c/4a type hair.
I think 4a 4b mixture definitely not in the 3s she has similar hair to mine
