Emails, dms, Skype and discord! All of these are used to find and communicate with pen Pals! Personally I like using snail mail because it’s so much fun to get mail! (As long as it’s bills lmao) but emailing is just as common and completely free! I would recommend making a “public” email that doesn’t contain your real name, but good luck!

You don’t need them! Pen pals used to just be a letter, you don’t need to spoil them or make themed packages, but you can send them drawings, recipes, etc. this is all just for fun ^-^
