Yeah, this was called “The wrong way to put out a fire” for a reason. It’s honestly a perfect way of looking at what Endeavor did to Touya. Endeavor sparked the fire, and instead of giving it calm and gentle water or something to put it out, he basically poured gasoline and paint thinner on it, and then proceeded to ignore the fire and let it build, not realizing that he was not only the root of the problem but also the main one making it worse. And by the time he did realize it, it’s all just too little too late.

Toya has no exuse for his actions he has murderd many inocents and blames everything on Endeavour witch even Midoriya basically tells him to get a life and not exuse his actions. Hell he tried to murder Shoto that shit aint normal. Endeavour did try to tell Toya as well but he didn't listen at all. As Endeavour said he didn't really know how to really say it after a while.

Endeavor talked to him for that part pretty late when Shoto was already born so Toya was brewing for years before. That's part of the issue, Endeavor ran away too long to nip it in the bud.

Fans may disagree with this, but I think that the biggest mistake Endeavor made with Toya was trying to stop him from training. Toya's training should've continued, and here's why. Yes the doctor told Endeavor to have him stop using his quirk but it was clear that it didn't matter what anyone said Toya was not going to stop because of how Endeavor raised him and how it changed Toya mentally. So not only was he going to continue his training but now behind their backs without being supervised, which was even more harmful. Endeavor should've continued Toya's training but making it less quirk focused and lead Toya down a different path and be a close part of his development so that Toya could have a career in something other than being a hero because at the end of the day what Toya wanted was to be acknowledged by his father. Even if it wasn't working towards being a hero, if Endeavor had continued Toya's training but slowly changed it into leading him down a different path that didn't involve him harming himself this whole situation would've been avoided. Just my opinion but I truly think that Toya's training should've continued with Endeavor keeling his eyes on him.

I don't know if you can blame Toya/Dabi's actions entirely on Endeavor. Endeavor didn't tell him to kill anyone or join the League of Villains. Midoriya even pointed that out. And I don't know if Toya was going to stop regardless of what Endeavor said or didn't say. Could Endeavor have handled the situation better? Absolutely. But I don't think blaming him and brushing off the actions of the other Todorokis is the way to go either.

I don't think she's blaming for Dabi as a villain, as much as for this episode specifically for Toya in the past.

Not just Endeavor but even Rei were just not ready to be parents because anyone else could've easily seen it isn't that Toya wanted to be a hero and surpass All Might. To simply put it... He wanted Endeavor to ACKNOWLEDGE HIM

To put it simply all Toya ever wanted was for his dad to acknowledge him. That's all it ever was and that's why everything he's become is Endeavor's responsibility as well as the family who turned a blind eye to it.

Loved your reaction! It may seem kind of weird but you look like a younger version of a nice grandma who bakes cookies for everyone (in a good way) :)

But their family did something powerful in that hospital. Dabi's reveal should by all means have torn them apart and completely undo whatever small progreses they had made in healing but instead of everyone being in their corner like they did before, they came together and acknowledge the problem and their role in the problem as a family, effectively breaking their perpetual cycle of always running away or around the problem and you're probably too mad at him to buy it, but I think Endeavor's honest and genuine efforts to change as a person and atone for the horrible man he was to his family made it possible for them to approach him like that. I don't think any of them would have even considered talking to him in the hospital had he not made the efforts that he made.

I sure hope Endeavor doesn't immediately ditch the family to go on a wild goose chase to find All for One--

While Endeavor did a huge wrong by not talking to Toya, it still remains vague whether Toya would have truly understood in a scenario where Endeavor speaks to him since he was so passionate and as stubborn in pursuing his dreams as his father.

The dub doesn't really convey endeavors emotions as well as the japaneese. It makes him sound much colder than the reality.
