Kodialbail locality of Kudla (Mangalaru) is derieved from Kodial Guthu. There were paddy fields till 1985 A.D. in front of Kodial Guthu house and also either side of M.G.Road. In fact the place where T.M.A. Pai convention centre stands today was a low lying paddy field , later these were filled with mud and stones and many buildings came on both the side of M.G.Road.There was a stream (Thodu) at northern boundary of paddy fields. Also Navabharath circle is in Kodialbail along with Ram Bhavan Complex and Karnataka Bank regional office and staff training centre ( previous head office of Karnataka Bank) on Karnad Sadashiva Rao road (K.S.Rao Road).
