what makes you think he wasnt grinding? Lamar is a great QB, theres no doubt, but hes very picky with the people he throws it to. He trusts Mark Andrews, he's really starting to trust Zay and Bateman this year, but he'll never produce a true WR1 bc of his playing style. Thats not a bad thing but a talented guy like Johnson wants targets. It was a bad fit from the start. He did great in Carolina bc he was getting the ball.

This is the ultimate chance that so few people get. I hope Diontae looks at the likes of De'Vondre Campbell, and the "bad press" players can get when they're treated differently to how they may want or expect, and grabs that opportunity with both hands and make the most of it.

American Football is probably the only sport where these complaints exist, English footballers get one 15minute break after pacing up and down a field for 45 minutes straight, this includes battling for the football. Football teams can be expected to play multiple times a week due to multiple leagues running at the same time. Rugby the one sport closest to American football also only has one break with two halves lasting 40 minutes. Rugby like American is also played once a week but it’s a rougher game than American football and they get far fewer breaks, no ad breaks no timeouts, after the effort they put in one game a week is totally justified. American football is a 60 minute game that can last up to 3 hours because of the stoppages, and breaks, they should be good to play the day after the next with the soft conditions they get!!! The reality is the fitness level just isn’t the same across all these sports, the players have skill, agility, talent but the stamina…
