This was my first Hot Toy and I love it.
He did have the mask of in the game
He did have his helmet off during the game. How can you forget about that awesome Boss Battle where batman "superman punched" him and destroyed his helmet.
Oh damn, I dont remember that bit at all - but hey, in my defense, it's been, what? Like 8 years or so since it was released and since I've played it accordingly lol
Now the cinematic trailer w/the Deathstroke & Batman fight on the other hand, I've watched numerous times over the years lo
But given that Slade was shown w/o his helmet in the game, then I have no excuse for Hot Toys and the lack of a head sculpt w/the figure - other than they've done the same with all the Arkham Batman figure releases too iirc, for whatever reason.
@@RobBifo yup that was lazy on their part. Also maybe because this figure is meant to be part of the Arkham Knight lines by Hot Toys but of course having made by Warner Games (Arkham Origins) couldn't label him as such. Rocksteady made the Arkham Knight. and yes Deathstroke appeared briefly on Arkham Knight with the same design, but on a lame tank boss fight with batman
@@paulmark2629 odd - I totally forgot about the tank stuff. It's odd though & we can confirm it was laziness because if you look at the packaging and promotional photos (e.g. on Sideshow's website) the figure is indeed listed & marketed as Arkham Origins Deathstroke as opposed to Arkham Knight. Either way, there is a 1/6 Deathstroke head sculpt on OmeSixthKit's website for $30 bucks & I went ahead and ordered that to rectify this situation :)

Oh man, I always thought (and knew) that once I got 1 - I would soon have 100 -_-
They're great & I love them but I just wish they weren't so damn expensive - I suppose they are significantly cheaper than premium format & custom resin statues though lol
@@RobBifo HT's are less expensive. Compare to 1/4 and 1/3 scales. Just PO 3 HT and purchase 2 HT's Deathstorke and Batman Beyond. I'm in big trouble now.😥
@@fcoello42 oof - I know the feeling lol I've got a few pre-orders that are set to release fairly soon that I had only put down the reservation deposit on prior. When pre-ordering, paying the remaining balance is always an issue left for "future Rob" to worry about - present day/ pre-order Rob doesn't give no f's as it ain't his problem lmao
@@fcoello42 Price wise, yes - that is why I started focusing on 1/6 Hot Toys myself as they are both "high quality" pieces and more "affordable" than premium format statues/resins/3rd or 4th scale pieces in general. I can get 3 (or more) Hot Toys for the same price as your average 1/4 scale statue. And considering the quality of HT, you're not really sacrificing anything in regards to "quality vs quantity".
@@RobBifo I totally Agree With You! I try to restrain myself from buy every thing I see. Hot toys are a new avenue I'm try for the first time. What has stopped me before from buy them. Is that to me they are like dolls to me. But Batman Beyond and Deathstroke are so awesome I couldn't said No to them.👍
