The red on the blade is the Wanda effect since she was the one that broke it, good attention to detail there

It’s crazy that thanos is sword is made of Uru and vibranium blew my mind the way the sword comes back when he throws it despite the helicopter affect and for the vibranium well it cut clean through caps shield not even Thor could dent it with the hammer and vibranium gives off purple like panthers suit which I think vibranium comes from the power stone
@@R35PECT77 vibranium don't come from power stone. It's just absorbe kinetic energy. Remember killmonger's suit colour was yellow.
@@R35PECT77 doable blade sword is mad with uru. And it can destroy vibranium but its hard. Thors hammer can also destroy cap's shield if he hits very hard.
@@chandupaperera44 what you mean my guy the asteroid that hit Wakanda comes from space and it doesn’t even have any origin story behind the asteroid all the story is is that it fell from space and it landed in wakanda hell vibranium could just be Uru but Thor would’ve known that so it’s not
Wish the base was reversed and the rocks were a little taller so you could have him sitting on them
Agreed! The rocks are a little too short of the sitting pose
They went above and beyond with that head sculpt. The detail with that added sweat is just prefect.

Those head sculpts look so good- they captured his expression perfectly. I do wish the sculpt on the base was sharper, but I’m glad they included a dio base.

What I don't understand is, we get that awesome defeated expression, but also we get the gauntlet without the stones only in a snapping pose? This doesn't make any sense. I mean he is supposed to look sad after the snap und not during..

This is the definitive Thanos for me! I hope the immense detail with the despair sculpt is a clue to how good the BD Mk 85 will come out. The snapping gauntlet was a great inclusion

As an owner of the previous non battle damaged Thanos, I see no reason to get this figure.
There’s something on the damage that still doesn’t look good for me (you call it soft details, I call it lazy sculpt)
Of course the head and the gauntlet are terrific, but it’s not enough to have the figure 2 times in my display.
I completely agree. There’s no reason they could have done an endgame accessory bundle for the Nano Gauntlet/head sculpt.
Same. I got the two thanos already, the IW and EG version. Wanted to pick this one up but to pay $420+ for a gauntlet and and BD effects? Nah. I might just buy the gauntlet on ebay and that's it.

Yes, it's lazy. This is a 428 dollar figure! They're charging more for this at retail than any of the past two Thanos figures and can't even give us better better sculpts for the battle damage? And they don't even bother to add a bent arm even though Infinity War Thanos had one? It's reasons like this that will make this a shelf warmer like the other past versions...
AGREE! same here. I actually cancelled my PO with this. If they had a head sculpt with the Infamous Thanos Grin (which he had for a second when he thought he got the gems on ENDGame) I would've kept my Pre-Order.

I absolutely love this figure it is really appropriate to the movie and the paint job with the detailing are really good. Hot toys did what they actually do i.e. make figures come to live😁

Thanos looks absolutely spectacular Justin! Hot Toys have nailed it with the paint applications on this figure, with the scratches, blood marks and cuts on the armor and body. The headsculpts look incredibly realistic, with amazing likeness to Josh Brolin. Hope we get Battle Damaged MK 85 soon.

Nice poses! I like the new surprised expression head sculpt. They should’ve included an new bent arm. Rubber arms have kept me away from buying previous versions. But I might get this one. Perhaps they will revisit Thanos in the future and make a the very final version. 😂

See, I like everything about this figure, except for the surprised head sculpt...💁🏻 I would've rather had the arrogant smile instead...💯✔ All in all, I've decided to go with The other End Game Thanos as my main Thanos in my figure universe...👍🏼

Fantatsic figure and will go perfectly with BD iron-man for that iconic end snap scene. Only negative (not the end of the world as it will be cheap to make), but have thanos diorama big enough so he can sit on it. Did see promo pictires of him before he faded, just would have been nice to have that out of the box. Regardless..... Glad this is my first thanos and the only one I need.
Oh and that new thanos head sculpt..... Stunning! Go as far as saying, Queens Studios level. Faultless.

The display base has the same issue as the celtic predator 2.0 you had to have his foot always resting up onto the alien head. As with this his foot is always going to be Bent.

Thanks for the review Justin. I dig the sculpt and the gauntlet but I’m underwhelmed by the battle damage. I think there’s a space for Hot Toys to have released an “accessory” kit, similar to the Mark 50, of Thanos’ disappointed headscuplt and the bent arm + nano gauntlet. Maybe as a $150 price point for use on the clean Thanos.

Yes but the golden armor is a much better look than the damn t-shirt look.
He looks exactly identical to the previous two except for a new head sculpt and damaged armor variant but I’m happy to add to my other Thanos. Now if only Hot Toys would release Doomsday and Steppenwolf. It’s only fitting the DC releases would have a villain to fight.

Looks amazing, but I agree Infinity War look is still the best, it’s very refined, the paint app, the bent arm and the more accurate gauntlet paint kills it.

The lack of the bent arm renders the snapping hand practically useless, as you will crease or tear the rubber arm over time. There's no excuse as to why Hot Toys didn't just mold a new one. No matter how unsightly the Infinity War arm was, they could have used that as a base for the new mold, added the EG armor and battle damage, and call it a day
I mean it still can be used, its a personal choice not to though
Hi Justin great review as always. I just got normal Armoured Thanos (which is brilliant) and dont regret not getting this one. I dont like the defeated expression and love the normal stoic look plus I didnt want the broken sword or over damaged armour. Also I wanted the Infinity Gauntlet -the only thing I like is the blood on his face sculpts but other than that I got the version I wanted. Thanks for your excellent videos

I understand how difficult it would've been, but I wanted them to include some dust particle effects, and have him be able to sit on the stand so we could recreate the scene where he's snapped away.

@@JustinsCollection Oh, that's just a sweet bicep peak. Bodybuilders spend hours upon hours doing endless concentration curls to get a peak like that, but it's mostly just genetic and dictated by where your biceps insert into your humerus. Some bodybuilders with really short biceps look like they have whole grapefruits stuffed under their skin. 😁
@TheDoge 777 Dude, have you *_seen_* actual real life bodybuilders...? Most of them have bicep peaks that look *_WAAAY_* freakier and more mishapen than this one. Biceps are not uniformly round, most of us have biceps with weird angles and shapes, you just don't see it on most people because they don't do all the steroids in the world, unlike bodyuilders that look like Thanos here.

Justin this is an off topic question but on my hot toys Deadpool 2 figure when I took off the shoe to put on the heels that he comes with the peg gets stuck in the shoe and I can’t get it out any suggestions?

This is such a great looking figure! I do prefer the clean armor version and I'm not really a big nano gauntlet fan but this still looks badass.
I do wish the angry head on my clean armor version had a little battle damage on it.

I like this figure, only thing they could have done better is make the head more curved where the neck starts, it's a bit of a straight cut now, curved would look even better and more natural
