You could have pointed out that having the convergence mastery will give you a 6 hour buff on found essences. Having the convergence mastery and the rift mastery while using a motivation on a rift will yield you approximately 50 essences of the tier of that rift.
So having the buff active will require you 12/24/60 T3/2/1 rifts without the actual convergence which is kinda easy to do if you think about it.
That is very helpful! Thank you, I knew about the buff, but have not used motivations for bonus essences myself, so I was not sure how helpful it was, thank you for pointing it out!
is this number per piece, or for the whole set?
@@paulinfgo after you have the precurser done, you need 3000 despair, 1,200 greed, and 600 triumph per piece of armor. to complete the precurser armor sets you do need a little bit more!

I already have precursor and one piece of legendary armor, but I didn't know about that convergence buff
I have done the weekly rifts most weeks since soto came out, weekly convergences for the last 2-3 months. Time commitment seems to be doable even for casual player - I mean you do need some ambition in the game to want to go for full set(s) of legendary after all. For weekly rifts per zone it takes about 20-30 minutes, if you do them "prime time" when others are around doing them as well. A public convergence takes about the same amount of time - of course with the downside that they only start every three hours. But most of the time you get part / most of the daily / weekly wizards vault stuff done while doing this as well. So that's about 30 minute / day time commitment to get plenty of essences to make 1-2 pieces legendary armor / month. I find a lot of the other stuff you need per armor piece are more time consuming to farm, but that probably depends on your account / how long you played / how well equipped your main + alts are / what you have in storage ...

And yes, you are right, the rest of the items can be more time consuming to farm, I might look to see if I can find some good information to make a decent guide for any of the time consuming items to hopefully save some people some time!

i just pump out public convergences, then while i am in one, i look for a late map, clear the first one, switch into second one, clear it. Sometimes I can even get a 3. one. weekly convergences done, repeat every week.
I won't lie, I'll be seeing if I can try that lol, to get all three done at once would be incredible!

what about buying the bait motivations to get extra rewards from rift hunting? Is it worth the gold spent or, is it in effect maybe even worse buying motivations than buying Unstable motivations and concealed ones?
Buying unstable motivations to open the coffer is never worth it lol. It's best to just sell the unstable moti to make some extra gold.
The common, uncommon and rare motivations you use in rifts is worth it imo. You don't need to buy it, you can just craft it. And it gives like 35-45 like essence per rift after the boss phase. But this is only if you want to farm the essence fast.
The biggest gate you will find is ectoplasm. You need like 600 ectoplasm per piece of gear. If you already have the ectoplasm, then you can use common, uncommon and rare motivations to farm rifts. Otherwise you will run out space in bank for 20k essence of despair, like 7k greed and like 3k triumph for 1 full set.
I already farmed 1 set and spent like 400 gold on ectoplasm lol. For the next 2 sets, I'm taking my time, just doing the weekly rifts and 1 convergence a day when I can. So currently all my essences are still in chests and nuggets so I don't run out of space. I will craft one amalgamated essence every now and then when I have the ectoplasm to keep my material storage from filling up.
You need 12 amalgamated essence per pimystic clovers also might be a gate. You need like 9 clovers per piece I think.
When ever you are online. Look for groups doing t3 rift farming. Join those a few times, you will farm the triumph essences pretty decently. You can use a rare motivation if you want to make that even faster. Same with t2 rifts.
Also if you have the convergence buff mastery, everytime you finish a convergence, you get a 6 hour buff to increased essence rewards from rifts as well. I think it was in the video. Although I am not entirely sure if this buff works only of you use common, uncommon or rare motivations. I wasn't paying attention :)
