You all asked for more ww2 lego mocs, and seeing your response from the previous lego ww2 historical build, I couldn’t resist… here is yet another lego history moc, but this time from a much lesser known era. This lego world war 2 build is a recreation of the world war 2 lego invasion of siciliy. This is lego operation husky, versus another lego builder.. thebrickcrew. Does that technically make this a lego city video? I think so.. it is a lego city build after all
Operation husky was the allied invasion of Sicily, following immediately after the successful campaign in North Africa. The intention was to strike the soft underbelly of the axis forces, drawing German resources from the eastern and the western front, then providing a launchpad for the invasion of Italy proper. Following the deployment of British paratroopers behind enemy lines, the main invasion force then landed on the southeast of the island, initially finding little resistance from the already demoralised Italian forces. Though the British were in for a tough fight ahead, as the Germans and Italians consolidated their lines around Mount Etna… this was called the “Etna Line”. This is where we meet our both the 1st Canadian Division, and the British 231 Infantry Brigade.
Canadian regiments present were:
The 48th Highlanders
The Royal Canadian Regiment
The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment
As for the British:
The Dorsetshire Regiment
2nd Battalion Devonshire Regiment
The Royal Artillery Regiment
Defending the hilltop town of Regalbuto was the Hermann Göring Armoured Engineer Battalion, with a squadron of tanks and supporting artillery, including that of the infamous Nebelwerfer and a company of German paratroopers from Parachute Regiment 3.
During Operation Husky, the battle of Regalbuto lasted from July 29th to August 2nd 1943.

PLEASE REMEMBER: I am limited by the lego bricks at my disposal. For example I do not have a picaxe lego accessory, nor do i have topless lego minifigure body parts. There are many details which I am aware, but I cannot match perfectly. This historical lego ww2 build is the best I could do with the lego parts at my disposal! Enjoy.

I sit down to enjoy my lunch and watch the latest Scot video... Immediately insulted within the first 1 minute. 😭
😂 he's not wrong tbh
And what? I'll do it again
😭😭
And hey. The brick crew insulted Scott in his video to so yall are pretty even. However i think that he would insult you more😂
man i love it when people try to recreate things as historically accurate as possible! btw cool build
this was an interesting concept.. should we do it again?
@@ScotsPlastic defenetly but with a different ww2 front or ww1 picture instead!
@@imaheadout8529 imagine scot guards trying to recreate a image in mc or roblox and scot has to make it in lego
@@ScotsPlastic
Definitely!
@@ScotsPlastic Maybe try to recreate a painting of a battle next? Napoleonic Wars perhaps...
3:40 yes Scot, sherman does go BRRRRRR
Your research was impressive and it’s great to see how different we recreated the scene. The roofs you made are fire! Looking forward to collaborate again in the near future!
Finally, an Italian front build, prob the largest somewhat forgotten front of the 2nd world war. Great Build Scot.
Finally Canadian WW2 representation
pulled a rainbolt for a lego vid absolute champ
small nitpick: the camera reversal in some shots messes up the viewer's orientation, it makes the buildings look like they're on the wrong side of the road
Your channel stands out from others, not because you focus on being funny or because you have very impressive builds, but the fact that you actually do research and make things as historically accurate as possible, it’s amazing how well you do with that and I have to give that to you, keep up what you do man
amazing moc and fidelity to the original content, only issues i see is that the sherman is a little small compared to the soldiers, and the guy on the far left is supposed to have a pickaxe instead of a broom, otherwise the moc is perfect !
i really like you explaining the historical context behind the build! if you ever make more historical builds, i would love to see more of these explanations! GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS
Great vid
GG ON FIRST
I watch your videos almost all the time when I am bored, and it helps. Keep up the good work!
The username tells me everything i need to know lol, thanks mate

@@emerickredding3792 Thanks... but after seeing his i'm not sure lol

Hey scot, did u use united bricks minifigs?
7:17 scot is either angry because he didn't get his candy or he got flashbacks from the british army
scotsplastic more like scotsbolt... rainscot... rainplastic... plasticbolt...
but, as most people have said, i love these historical videos! challenge videos are fun, but having these between those is always a neat little treat.
I'm building a Lego moc of my own of Okinawa Jimmy is coming along pretty well I got a bunker some trenches and soon I'll get some water and the beach has like like many little blown out pits where explosions or mortar shells exploded but this is pretty cool too great job 👏👏😄👌
Good to see the Canucks getting some representation. It seems The Canadians and plenty of other nations don't get enough credit for their efforts during WW2 nowadays and are not mentioned as often
4:15 Love the clan Gordon figs, my supposed ancestors
7:09 cinematic, depressed, neutral Scot…..😂😂
Scot could you make the moc that is showing polish troops storming monte casino? btw the video idea is great keep it up and soon it will be 100k subs
Great build and cool concept
wow you really improved in moc! the moc looks great compared to the photo, well done!
The moc you made was very nice👍👌, and the reference is like the moc
The only thing i noticed was the propellers on the rear of the sherman.
The normal M4 didnt have those only the DD variant but overall better moc building than i can achieve 😁
This style of video using a picture of a rl place to make a mock is a good idea and we need more of it
mighty scot posting again love to see it
you here to feed comments to the algorithm ye?
I’m seeing some massive improvement on your skills bro, keep going!!
Wow that looks so good. Could you make a battle of Berlin.
dare:
make a part of a war-torn city with photographs as your guide (for example: Manila after the 1945 Battle of Manila)
Please do more of this!
that research mustve been hard
took me like 4 hours to find the road
How the hell can Scot build it so perfect and accurate
Brick crew vote here ⬇️ because he has so much more detail and
Ye not smart to post it on a scots plastic vid. He’ll get offended lol😂 but I low key agree
What bricks Scot is the best I vote bricks Scot not brick crew
Scots plastic lol I miss spelled it on top I said bricks Scot not Scot’s plastic
love you, scot! and all of your content, you are definitely BY FARR! my favourite youtuber!
i love your humour and all of your mocs. i hope you succeed in life and make many more videos ❤❤
video being 9:11 minutes long is crazy
Wow!
: O
That was fast.
a german skilled moc builder vs a scotish not skilled noob (noob is not mean to be rude )
Surprisingly amazing roof. I totally believed in you from the start
Yeah it's because it wasn't an actual hell roof like the twin villas smaller building..
You’re without a doubt getting better, if you weren’t competing against brickcrew then this would be a pretty solid moc
My criticisms, is that the rubble is a bit lack lackluster, to many 1x1 snot pieces in the walls, and the road is to messy when in the picture it is very flat. But for your skill level not bad at all keep it up.
Guard vs army 24 hours when????
When's the life-sized lego builds coming out Scot?
Awesome, well done, and as always very entertaining.
Great video like always Scot!
Great build
Thanks Stroh, I like you more than Wolf_Knight
@@ScotsPlastic you will never escape me

love your videos keep doing good look
Sherman go burrrrrrrrrrrr
You should do ww2 german bunker moc
Love the Canadian connection!
Sorry, Scott. But i've to say the brick crew is better sorry
9 seconds ago is wild
who's 9 seconds and why are they wild?
@@ScotsPlastic good question
The moc is great, that’s a real diorama builder unlike daileybricks who doesn’t know how to build terrains. Also from the tracks the tank in the picture is most likely an easy eight
Love your videos
Love your comments
Tbh I would very much like it if you did the battle of Gallipoli because I am Australian and would like you to grow your Australian army and Turkish army. Either way love you videos
He made the video!!!

There was no western front during operation husky it was too lighten up the Eastern front of Germans and to show the Germans that they can have two fronts to fight
The video length 💀
