I first heard Dreamsdear because of www.sticksuicide,com. Because he featured As Darkness Falls in his animated stick figure video, I learned of this band and was introduced to metal. I remember showing my dad the song and expecting him to be mad when it went from clean to heavy guitars and the dude screaming “OOOOOOOOOOOooooh!!” He, to my surprise, laughed and said no that’s totally ok. 18 years later I hear a song from this now disbanded group I’ve never heard. It’s pretty fucking cool. I’m super thankful for the internet and whoever uploaded this to UA-cam because otherwise this gem of metal history would be totally lost.
anyone here remember these in the folkhouse in abbeyleix for the annual metalfest back in the days before internet? and so many other good Irish metal bands there too.
